I was disappointed by the tv show. The marshal wasn’t as big, the violence wasn’t as dangerous and the visuals were never as good as the OTR Show.

Nope not at all. Too short. Too old, too heavy and too rugged looking.
Mat tall 6 ft 7 and young. Handsome great voice. Perfect choice by John Wayne who recommended him.

I remember a lot of the storylines with some of the same actors in the TV series. Does William Conrad who went by Bill have any voice parts in the radio programs other than Matt Dillon.
