Just a little FYI about the upgraded journal with the leather cover. It has extra pages with gorgeous artwork. Definitely worth taking another look when you get the chance.
I am so mad about myself not having tried TG earlier, then I would have definitely backed this allin.. 😖🤷🏼♂️ recently started a FoA campaign and am loving it.. :D
Awaken Realms are a solid 7-8 out of 10 for minis. KDM still holds the title as the absolute best, right up there with dedicated mini companies like Games Workshop. That said in the board game space there's not many that hold a candle to AR.
I done my own Sundrop on my original tainted grail, I will do my own sundrop on the kings of ruin stuff, but the other good thing about sundrop if you decide to paint them later then its quite easy and you have all the base shading in place.
I have played a few chapters of the Fall of Avalon campaign but I find that it is not my cup of tea. I like games that have a little bit of background and perhaps a bit of aftermath but during a game session, I don't like reading too much of a story. I would like to write my own story using the game mechanism rather than making a decision then looking up another paragraph. Maybe my taste is in the minority but I understand that not every game is for everybody.

oooo. good to know.
Waiting for your tutorial on this AND Aeons Trespass Odyssey 😅
Looking forward to the 15th March for your playthrough. Good luck learning it in the meantime
Thanks

I will say, Ludus Magnus Studios does the nicest minis ive seen. Use to think it was AR too until i received Black Rose Wars Rebirth.
the miniatures look amazing, wow! I hope they will do a reprint of KoR.. 🙏🏼😁
how many pages does the exploration journal have? would be great to know.. it looks huge!! 😱
LOTS
This looks really good 😄 there is really not enough hours in a day 😢
You “missing” the stretch goals box or is that included in the main box?
It was all included in the box. You can see when I opened it, there was a book for the Stretch goals. And all the cards and other stuff is in there.
I started the campaign, but sure could get some help on some parts of the game from your playthrough video.
You've started Kings of Ruin already?
@@GamingRulesVideos Yeah! I received my copy last week. So far, I am blown away by the story and quality of the game.

Can’t wait for the STALKER minis!
How would you compare Tainted Grail's narrative and exposition vs ATO, considering they're both pretty text heavy games
I enjoy both, but I prefer Tainted Grail.
will you sleeve all your tainted grail cards..? 🤔☺️
Only the ones that require regular shuffling.

Yep. I've painted one of them over the sundrop, after doing some more drybrushing of white.

I'm soooooo looking forward to get a copy of this amazing game
sadly none of these influencers dives into the rulebook.
