I do think that Jin could beat all the S rank hunters because if you remember the fight between Gotoh and Jin and Gotoh was confirmed to be the strongest guy in the room and when Jin was preparing one real punch and Gotoh was scared out of his mind with ONE real punch. It's very likely that if Jin wasn't stopped Gotoh probably would have died or at least critically injured so given that Jin could pull that off with one punch I think at least he's got a pretty solid chance of beating this new ant threat.

Not to mention taking them all on single handedly, c’mon that’s an L waiting to happen.

I imagine listening to you talk about the manga when I've already read the Light Novel is has a similar feeling to how you feel when you talk about an anime when you've already read the manga. Also, just a tangent, but I get bugged when people talk about how strong bugs and the like would be if they were scaled up to human size when the physics says that most of their proportional strength is allowed only because they are small and making them larger would actually reduce their proportional strength.

I have to say, as someome whose read the novel, the way comic really puts another spin on everything. The quality art really brings it to life, and the fact that they aren't rushing it makes me really happy. I can't wait to see some of the later parts in action, as the author wanted it done
You remember the first boss Jin defeated, the swamp Snake? I started reading again the manwa. Jin got a permanent buff from a Iten of that snake. His skin is strong as a armor and his levels have improved a lot his endurance.
I haven't read the light novel and i want more of this. But i have to say that according to what I've seen. That final ant we see after they kill the queen is mostly likely an Ant King. The other hunters are gonna get wrecked by this new ant king. Then Jin Woo will more than likely switch places with one of his shadows that he has on all of the S rank hunters. Then proceed to solo the ant king and then add him to his shadow army. It was stated a few chapters ago that none of the other hunters were aware that he placed a shadow on each of them when Japan and South Korea had met for the first time. Plus he can switch places with his shadows at any given moment. So there wasn't a need for him to arrive on the island with the raid party.
Man... At the start i only read the manhwa for about 90 chapters. But then i got weak and read some of the light novel. And man was that the right choice. There is sooooooo much content, it tells you how every character is thinking at each moment, it conveys what the writer wanted us to know. I didn't read any book, story or light novel before in my life, but i was so happy, hyped and sweating and blasted through the whole thing in 3 days. It is fucking good. most worth it of my life.

The Korean S-rank were not underestimating the ants as they know how powerful they're from the previous failed raid, that's why Korea accept the help from Japan. For the Japanese S-rank, it's a different story as the main reason for Goto to do this raid is to be recognised as nation-level hunter and his ambition were backed up by the fact this S-rank dungeon in korea is not the first S-rank dungeon in the world.all the other S-rank dungeon were successfully handled when the monsters from the dungeon itself is dragon, giants,etc.seeing that this korean dungeon is only a colony of ants,they underestimate it because...... it's just ant,how hard it can be right. But yeah all in all,the arc is reaching its climax.cant wait.
Remember that the 'King ant' thing is also just doing sneak attacks, so it's not showing it's real strength yet either. If he is as strong or stronger than MC is still up in the air.
As a light novel reader without spoiling anything, one of the big changes I noticed here was that the Japanese hunters were supposed to be killed during their plan to sneak out early so the Korean hunters would get trapped and die. The head of the Korean Hunter association was supposed to find out about their plot latter and it becomes a important piece for later events in the series. The manwha briefly touches on it when the Japanese hunters found out Jin Woo would not be participating but that was it.
At 4:00 when chibs says that he doesnt think jin can take the s rank hunters i dont blame him. Most light novel readers disagree because they know jin's power in comparison to the others(hunters), jin stomped goto, few chapters prior but emphasis on stomp. Because thats the thing with the manga/manhwa, the art and action is top tier but i feel that the light novel was more detailed. Its also gonna be difficult to scale s-rank and national rank hunters because they have no way to measure them accurately and the gap in the power between hunters can only be scaled by their achievements so there's that Dry saliva gang arise 👆🏻
I think the reason him said no to the raid is because his shadows can enter into s rank hunters without them detecting them with that he can teleport to any given location. In this way he keeps his mother's feeling in check and also be cautious of the situation jeju island and the s rank hunters are in.

Jin was more or less testing his abbilities against Goto - while Goto on the other Hand was getting more and more frustrated because a *supposedly mage type Hunter* was making a mokery out of him by continuing to smile and dodging his attacks. After Goto decided to kill Jin the later got a Warning message because of the Bloodlust directed towards him. Since the warning distracted him Goto almost pierced Jins eye. Different to the Manwa tho Jin never said a word and only prepared to uterly destroy Goto with a single punch while crushing Gotos WRIST with the other hand. Goto on the other hand was scared shitless and couldnt move an inch while thinking about dying in that moment. What bothered me was the Exchange of words, the fact Jin caught the hand instead of the wrist as well as the fact that Goto tried to fight back. I hope this explains my standpoint.

Well, with every ants or S rank hunters that die, Jin Woo can just arise all of them right, and without spending mana right, unless the got destroyed & resummoned. And if I remember correctly he got 800 slots of soldiers, during Demon Castle he only got around 200 shadow soldier since he cant arise demons, so with that he should be able to get another 600 shadows in this raid. Other than "Meruem", soldier ants shouldn't be a problem for JinWoo. Correct me if im wrong.

Most if not all the Japanese Hunters will die(been a while since I read this arc so I don't remember, but all of them died I think), 1 of the Korean Hunters will die and another will be near death. Jin Woo steps in when they get surrounded by the Ants. Jin is gonna slap the Ant Boss so hard the Chapter should get a Animal Abuse and Mind Break Disclaimer
The people are unaware of the systems existence. It’s proven all dungeon monsters grow with the system. And given the way the system works on Jin adding points into strength actually changes his physique. Now these ants were left alone for a long time killing each other to level up. The longer they were left alone the bigger of a threat they became. Now all the intelligence these ants have gained from their tears of isolation would no doubt improve their intelligence.
Even without his shadows, he was easily able to keep up with gotoh, and since gotoh is the strongest Japanese S rank, and the Japanese vs Korean fight was basically a tie (basically you've got Korean hunters > Japanese hunters > gotoh > Jin), along with that white tiger guy actively admitting he was weaker than him before he even killed the demon King, I don't think it would be a stretch for him to be able to dodge and deal with all the hunters even without his shadows. Even more so if the system required him to kill and he actually got serious.
The Korean S rank hunters are definitely done for if they have to face this "king" ant. Do not forget though Jin has the demon kings sword (shoots infinite lightning) plus potions which restore mana and hp, so I think Jin can take thousands of soldiers just by himself. I think by going by power levels, the demon king is stronger than Jin, because without his Mage shadow he would have lost and the demon girl. But I think this Ant is even weaker than the Demon king. So even though we have seen the Ants pure strength and no magical attacks (if it has any) it might be weaker than Jin. Although I don't think we should scale these characters based on their "true" power but ALL their powers. I mean Jin is incredibly strong with or without but the fire mage for example cannot compare unless without his magic, know what I mean? Since the enemies and S rank hunters come with their own uniqueness, we should scale them by including that, since it their own power that undoubtedly makes them stronger than others.
I would have liked your thought on what will happen. Will Jin go to the island get all S rank who died, give them some items the kill the ants with them to face at the end that New ant.

This arc reminds me SOOO EXTREMLY HARD of Hunter x Hunter‘s ant arc. Ant queen, gives birth to a ton of insanely strong ants, gives birth to a „king“ who can one shot all extremely strong hunters, humanities fate depends on whether or not the strongest guy can defeat the ant king...

Jin has his minions in the shadows of some of the S -ranks, so he could easily teleport to them. But he seems to think they will be completely fine without him and because of that isn't keeping up with the situation. He would probably be too late and only save a couple of them.

Just to give you an idea, the novel is finished and has these alternate names: "I Alone Level Up", "I Level Up Alone" and "Only I Level Up" so is a power fantasy mostly well writen but don't get the idea anybody else apart from the MC has any relevance, well that is in the novel let's hope the manwah debiates from this. Don't get me wrong, so far the art and the story is going great but still have to wait for the rest of the story.

I have to say, as someome whose read the novel, the way comic really puts another spin on everything. The quality art really brings it to life, and the fact that they aren't rushing it makes me really happy. I can't wait to see some of the later parts in action, as the author wanted it done
You remember the first boss Jin defeated, the swamp Snake? I started reading again the manwa.
Jin got a permanent buff from a Iten of that snake. His skin is strong as a armor and his levels have improved a lot his endurance.
I haven't read the light novel and i want more of this. But i have to say that according to what I've seen. That final ant we see after they kill the queen is mostly likely an Ant King. The other hunters are gonna get wrecked by this new ant king.
Then Jin Woo will more than likely switch places with one of his shadows that he has on all of the S rank hunters. Then proceed to solo the ant king and then add him to his shadow army.
It was stated a few chapters ago that none of the other hunters were aware that he placed a shadow on each of them when Japan and South Korea had met for the first time. Plus he can switch places with his shadows at any given moment.
So there wasn't a need for him to arrive on the island with the raid party.

Man... At the start i only read the manhwa for about 90 chapters.
But then i got weak and read some of the light novel. And man was that the right choice. There is sooooooo much content, it tells you how every character is thinking at each moment, it conveys what the writer wanted us to know. I didn't read any book, story or light novel before in my life, but i was so happy, hyped and sweating and blasted through the whole thing in 3 days. It is fucking good. most worth it of my life.

Nice points chibi.let me clarify a few things to polish up ur point.
The Korean S-rank were not underestimating the ants as they know how powerful they're from the previous failed raid, that's why Korea accept the help from Japan.
For the Japanese S-rank, it's a different story as the main reason for Goto to do this raid is to be recognised as nation-level hunter and his ambition were backed up by the fact this S-rank dungeon in korea is not the first S-rank dungeon in the world.all the other S-rank dungeon were successfully handled when the monsters from the dungeon itself is dragon, giants,etc.seeing that this korean dungeon is only a colony of ants,they underestimate it because...... it's just ant,how hard it can be right.
But yeah all in all,the arc is reaching its climax.cant wait.
Remember that the 'King ant' thing is also just doing sneak attacks, so it's not showing it's real strength yet either. If he is as strong or stronger than MC is still up in the air.
As a light novel reader without spoiling anything, one of the big changes I noticed here was that the Japanese hunters were supposed to be killed during their plan to sneak out early so the Korean hunters would get trapped and die. The head of the Korean Hunter association was supposed to find out about their plot latter and it becomes a important piece for later events in the series. The manwha briefly touches on it when the Japanese hunters found out Jin Woo would not be participating but that was it.
At 4:00 when chibs says that he doesnt think jin can take the s rank hunters i dont blame him. Most light novel readers disagree because they know jin's power in comparison to the others(hunters), jin stomped goto, few chapters prior but emphasis on stomp. Because thats the thing with the manga/manhwa, the art and action is top tier but i feel that the light novel was more detailed. Its also gonna be difficult to scale s-rank and national rank hunters because they have no way to measure them accurately and the gap in the power between hunters can only be scaled by their achievements so there's that

Jin has lots of skills that can take all S hunters himself especially his moving objects skill and stealth
I think the reason him said no to the raid is because his shadows can enter into s rank hunters without them detecting them with that he can teleport to any given location. In this way he keeps his mother's feeling in check and also be cautious of the situation jeju island and the s rank hunters are in.
The chimera ant arc is a lot more gruesome then a remembered.

Jin was more or less testing his abbilities against Goto - while Goto on the other Hand was getting more and more frustrated because a *supposedly mage type Hunter* was making a mokery out of him by continuing to smile and dodging his attacks.
After Goto decided to kill Jin the later got a Warning message because of the Bloodlust directed towards him.
Since the warning distracted him Goto almost pierced Jins eye.
Different to the Manwa tho Jin never said a word and only prepared to uterly destroy Goto with a single punch while crushing Gotos WRIST with the other hand.
Goto on the other hand was scared shitless and couldnt move an inch while thinking about dying in that moment.
What bothered me was the Exchange of words, the fact Jin caught the hand instead of the wrist as well as the fact that Goto tried to fight back.
I hope this explains my standpoint.

Well, with every ants or S rank hunters that die, Jin Woo can just arise all of them right, and without spending mana right, unless the got destroyed & resummoned. And if I remember correctly he got 800 slots of soldiers, during Demon Castle he only got around 200 shadow soldier since he cant arise demons, so with that he should be able to get another 600 shadows in this raid. Other than "Meruem", soldier ants shouldn't be a problem for JinWoo. Correct me if im wrong.

Even without his shadows, he was easily able to keep up with gotoh, and since gotoh is the strongest Japanese S rank, and the Japanese vs Korean fight was basically a tie (basically you've got Korean hunters > Japanese hunters > gotoh > Jin), along with that white tiger guy actively admitting he was weaker than him before he even killed the demon King, I don't think it would be a stretch for him to be able to dodge and deal with all the hunters even without his shadows. Even more so if the system required him to kill and he actually got serious.
Of course some will die but MC still has troops on their shadows and can see what's going on if it gets bad well you know he'll like show up

The Korean S rank hunters are definitely done for if they have to face this "king" ant. Do not forget though Jin has the demon kings sword (shoots infinite lightning) plus potions which restore mana and hp, so I think Jin can take thousands of soldiers just by himself. I think by going by power levels, the demon king is stronger than Jin, because without his Mage shadow he would have lost and the demon girl. But I think this Ant is even weaker than the Demon king. So even though we have seen the Ants pure strength and no magical attacks (if it has any) it might be weaker than Jin. Although I don't think we should scale these characters based on their "true" power but ALL their powers. I mean Jin is incredibly strong with or without but the fire mage for example cannot compare unless without his magic, know what I mean? Since the enemies and S rank hunters come with their own uniqueness, we should scale them by including that, since it their own power that undoubtedly makes them stronger than others.
I would have liked your thought on what will happen. Will Jin go to the island get all S rank who died, give them some items the kill the ants with them to face at the end that New ant.
There have been jokes and memes about dry saliva, but I haven't seen any eye earthquake jokes (light novel reader)

Jin has his minions in the shadows of some of the S -ranks, so he could easily teleport to them. But he seems to think they will be completely fine without him and because of that isn't keeping up with the situation. He would probably be too late and only save a couple of them.
Makes me wonder if Jin shows his power to the world by clearing this raid and then they all start to see him as a world wide threat

Just to give you an idea, the novel is finished and has these alternate names: "I Alone Level Up", "I Level Up Alone" and "Only I Level Up" so is a power fantasy mostly well writen but don't get the idea anybody else apart from the MC has any relevance, well that is in the novel let's hope the manwah debiates from this. Don't get me wrong, so far the art and the story is going great but still have to wait for the rest of the story.
