Sup guys. I’m relatively new to fut & I’m a div 5 player in rivals. Competition is quite steep for me there but I manage to win most of my games in rivals. When it comes to fut champs, I’m not sure how the match making is but I absolutely trashed week in week out. Can someone please explain how the match making works in champs.
There really isn't anymore because they made it longer. So if you play right when it starts.. you're gonna face some of the strongest players who know they will win most games and they just want their rewards asap. If you wait until the last day or two... you're likely to face people who have already finished WL and want to get Qualifiers out of the way asap, and you have the same problem. If i had to pick a time where you could potentially get some easier opponents, it would have to be after midnight. I'm pushing 40 and i sometimes play from like 12am - 3 am. You'd probably rather verse me than some 16 year old demon in Elite who plays 20 games a day - DURING THE DAY. If you're even asking this question it means that you need to adjust your attitude man. Are you playing to win, or to get rewards ? I know its a loaded question because the logic is, if you get good rewards you will have a better team & play better but that's not how it works , is it ? We both know its not. I ran 7 gold cards in my starting 11 until April and I regularly got 15+ wins in champs. Play to have fun, play to get better. PLAY TO PLAY my friend. This is all transient. It goes away. The cards you have will all be irrelevant soon as the next fifa (EA FC) comes out. And its like that every year. What won't go away will be what you learned and how you improved yourself as a player. Growth. That's what you should care about if you enjoy the sport and enjoy the game. Overall, my suggestion to you is not to play all the games at once. Play maybe 3,4 games every day during WL. Play Rivals in-between if you have the itch for FIFA. The way I do it.. i never start Champs until i get 3 wins in a row in Rivals. In DIV 2 that doesn't always come quick nor easy but when it does, i FEEL ready. Right now, if you're DIV 4 or better , those Rivals games could be tougher than Champs so its a good way to know you're in form and give you a bit of momentum to feed off of. Forget you're playing champs. Try to always skip the screen that shows your opponents squad. Just play your own game .Stay calm but also focused and positive. The ECL Finals just finished a couple days ago. Watch some of those games. It's not all about playing over and over again. Taking a break to do some research, learn from the best .. it can go a long way. Sorry for the long rant. I just felt like sharing. Hope it helps. GL & HAVE FUN !

The only fun part about UT anymore collecting cards, and you essentially lose them every year. I can't believe this game doesn't have a "collection log" or a "card collectors book" that shows you all the card you've collected in years past to present....NO instead we spend thousands of dollars and hours on cards that essentially get scrapped every year with our memory being the only collection, mamy of which are bad memories. Imagine collecting TOPS cards and just throwing them out each year to start all over. With the state of gameplay this is no longer a football simulator but a collector card game similator.
