- Season 4 is here! Spearfishing in the crystal clear waters of the Great Barrier Reef way up in CAPE YORK, QUEENSLAND. The boys are only eating what they can catch so the pressure is on to catch a fish for dinner. Nath and good mate Dane head into a remote beach on the East Coast of Cape York, The boys have been welcomed into these Traditional Lands by some good indigenous mates and after a night telling stories around the fire the boats hit the water early and its straight out to some remote islands to wet a line and explore.

Hot tip. Use coriander root. Its less bitter and soap tasting compared to the leaves

@@WildReaches pretty much. I learnt it off a mate who is a thai chef in mooloolaba. I used it in a thai curry he taught me on some friends who hate coriander with a passion and they loved it.
What happened to your old tinnie? Any plan to go down south to explore the Murray River?
Still got it mate. We use it a bit in Season 4. Love the little Stessco Tripper. I’m repowering it now for the next trip. Season 5!

Hey Ben, stoked you’re loving the content mate! Such an epic boat, it’s a Bonito 5m but not sure on the Canopy height. If I remember I’ll measure it next time I’m out in the shed. You can get fold down ttops though. This one unbolts quite easily halfway up.

It occured to me the drone serves two purposes...a navigation assistant and a security device to spot those pesky saltwater crocodiles when pulling the boat thru shallow waters. And I love that fold out awning. Very clever design. Looking forward to more episodes and much respect from the Pacific Northwest.

Froth it boys 🤙🌴 heading up there in August, about to buy a 3.6m for my roof instead of towing my 4.2, reakon itll be big enough to hit all the creek systems an head out the front for a look?
Creeks yeah for sure, we use a 3.7 but out the front can get a bit hairy. On the west coast in August you’ll get some nice offshore days but most days on the East coast will be howling South East. Might get lucky tho. Watch those snapping handbags in the little boat too

How can you be sure there's no croc in the fresh water hole at the hut? incredible place btw
You can never be sure I suppose. But it’s a very small hole fed by a tiny spring creek. I wouldn’t imagine a croc putting itself in danger to come up so close to the hut with no real escape route. 🙁you never know tho

@@WildReaches yes amazing guy but he would be close to 80 plus by now .. we were there a couple of years ago and fished the McIvor for a week .. nautilus shells over on the ocean beach
