  • Yes, I know, I know. I only missed a gazillion other things that makes Keystone the best for the money. Like I say, there is a reason I'm not a rocket surgeon. My memory is soooo bad.

    I don't understand all the negative comments here. We bought our first RV, a 2010 Keystone Springdale travel trailer and used it 5-6 times each year with no problems other than replacing the ghost starting audio system, free of charge from the dealer. In 2018, we traded it in on our new special order Keystone Montana Legacy 3560-RL with full body paint. We special ordered because this was to be our last RV purchase, so we got everything we wanted on it. Our Montana has performed flawlessly for the 5-1/2 years we've owned it. We have a little over 10K miles on it. We ordered it with the dark slate wood interior and it looks fantastic and rich. The full body paint still looks brand new. Perhaps Montana has slipped in the past few years? But ours is rock solid and I couldn't be more pleased with it. I take it back to the dealer for routine maintenance every 2 years for brakes & bearings, and to have all 5 slide rooms checked, but no problems so far. It's 39-1/2 feet long and tows like a dream behind my 2017 RAM 3500 SRW HD truck with H/O Cummins/Aisin. Montana's reputation speaks for itself and I'd buy another if I were in the market for one.

      Unfortunately people are more apt to complain than to complement. And I get it. You spend that kinda money and something goes wrong they explode. The other part is sometimes this is a person's first camper purchase and they relate them to houses. It's soooo not a house. They have to be made loosely or they would crumble going down the road. Also, Keystone didn't make that a/c, fridge, heater, slide out motor, awning or whatever. They just installed it. The best part about selling the Montana is I can tell the customer you don't have to believe me. They can believe the last 23 years of it being the number one selling 5th wheel in the USA. So after all the RV shows, Going to five different RV dealerships, TH-cam videos, google research or whatever people choose the Montana over any other 5th wheel.

    This is the first rear bed I’ve seen with a proper closet. I’d be willing to lose the bathroom window and a sink & cabinet space so they could reconfigure it to put the WD back there. The 63BP is my preference, but either way I like Montana’s version of this layout best. Thanks for the tour.

      That's the thing with campers. If you add two or three feet to the bathroom you have to take it from somewhere else. So where are you willing to give up two or three feet? Shorter kitchen? Oops, then there is no counter space. Put those recliners right in front of the tv? Can't do that, you would have to remove the tri-fold sofas? I hope you see where I'm coming from.

    I see good and bad with this, the 2 bathrooms are essential to any home, thats a plus. I dislike/hate a king size bed..how do you make it up with nice full comforters? You dont..they don't tell you that the mattress has to slide almost off the bed frame to make it up. Pantry looks too small for full-time living.. The couches should be cloth, that leather, that stuff starts peeling after awhile. So otherwise a very nice trailer

    • @happycampinggeoff
      @happycampinggeoff  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Are you sure you are commenting on the right video? You can walk up and pick up a pillow off the bed practically without even bending over. There is almost two feet of clearance on the side of the bed. That and the furniture is made out of the newer sport cloth material. It flat out does not flake or peal. I do agree about the bathrooms though, lol.
