Back in the early '90s it was kind of taboo OR at least, showbiz folks didn't report that kind of stuff that much. Ariel and Regine worked together and started falling in love. Ariel broke up with Gelli. That's when media folks reported that Ariel and Gelli were already living together. They were mad at Ariel and Regine (mostly Regine because most people are always unfair to women, in general). It was reported that Gelli won't even give Ariel his passport. This was a big scandal back then. Ariel and Regine weren't showbiz royalties. Gelli, on the other hand, was well-known because of Janice being in showbiz for the longest time. Basically, Ariel and Regine's careers were in serious trouble. I personally think Ariel used his head and that's why he reconciled with Gelli. Ariel must have been scared that showbiz folks and his fans would stop supporting him. Back in 1994, Ariel was a bigger star than Regine. Gelli was a bigger star (movie star) than Regine. Ariel broke up with Regine. Ariel and Gelli became a couple once again. Regine became a superstar in 1999 after the release of her Y2K album (November 1999). Ariel and Gelli didn't really reach her level of success and fame. But everything worked out in the end. They're all happily married.

Binanggit si Gelli meaning si Ariel Rivera nga yung nang iwan sa ere pero si Regine tahimik lang at yung kampo ni Gelli yung nag-ingay as if si Regine yung nanira ng relasyon.
Feeling kasi ni Gelli niloko siya. Matagal na palang nag-uusap yung dalawa sa phone tapos nabuking niya kasi ang taas ng bill nila sa telepono 😅
