I just recently started playing starfield after waiting for mods to come out for my Xbox Series X. That is a video on all the locations where a player could find Va'ruun ships both in space and on the ground and POI locations where npcs would spawn at Low, Medium, and High levels.
@@CommanderStarfireWolf that’s a cool suggestion! A lot of the outer planets are generated per save so those encounters can be randomized BUT I can keep an eye out for certain conditions. I’m excited to learn more about that faction in the DLC.
@@Matt_the_TechRanger If you add the mod Improved Serpent's Embrace you can become one. The mod makes it so the Va'ruun are not hostile to you and removes all negative affects of the Serpent's Embrace. Great video! I’ve noticed more games are adding a contrast option in the settings. i find myself either doing visual sixty or uncaaped. on my tv uncaaped still looks amazing but on my monitor i have to bump up the visuals with the lower resolution
I've tested 60 FPS Performance and 60 FPS Visuals on a Xbox series x with a 4k TV with a 120 refresh rate and 60 FPS Visuals is the best settings hands down.
No if I see anything and I'm not working, I'll make something about it. Like a Short. I'd recommend keeping an eye on the F4 mods reddit or Bethesda Discord for now. HUDFramework still works for iHUD and such though
If you have a vrr capable display just leave it in visuals mode and set the fps target to 60. The frame rate difference is negligible and the lods, lighting and resolution are better.
How do you change the settings for xbox to take advantage of that ‘Not in your face’ NPC interactions during conversation? I have been dumbfounded as to adjust the settings in order to accomplish that offered change since it was released in an update. Someone on Xbox please help with this?
Monitor 1440p 120hz is what works the best for me. When I ever I put it on my tv which will only do 4k 60hz I have the biggest problems with frame rate drops

'Uncapped' with 1440p 120hz seems to be the best on my end when I'm not recording. Akila is still one of the toughest spots, though. Probably because things are constantly loading since its a dense spot.
Thx.I have my contrast at 90 and brightness at standard. That makes a big difference.I find adjusting the brightness and contrast in Starfield to be stupid. Weird brightness and contrast.😅
That's a good one - 60 to 90 contrast seems good on the displays I've tried. I think the setting can be a bit wonky because there's like a LUT/ENB on top of the game to begin with. Kind of like TreyM Film looks in Fallout 4 and its like you're adjusting Brightness/contrast based on that rather than the total, if that makes sense. Nerdy assumption so I'm just spit-ballin'
The main difference you'd see is the lower 1080p resolution. However you may want to try using the Visuals mode (60FPS target) first if your display is the lower resolution already. It might run better for you. If it's still a bit frame-y outside of those main areas then you can go back to performance (60fps target).
