This is the second time I've watched this FANTASTIC video!! WOW ... it's very evocative, and unforgetable!! He's alone playing a very poignant song and he lets his mind drift off ... to conjure up a memory perhaps, or a desire -- he has mentioned that the cello reminds him of a woman's body. All of a sudden, he looks up, and there she ... in a beautiful red satin dress. She walks slowly, and enters the mood of his song, and sits to listen to the music. He can't help but watch her, as he continues to play ... the moment builds, and actually sweeps us along with him. She is listening to him play the song, but then she stands up and undoes the top of her dress, a lets it slowly fall. His mind drifts deeper into this scenario ... and he watches her slowly walk towards him ... he can't take his eyes off her ... she is mesmerizing!!! She takes his cello and drops it to the side, and straddles him as he sits there ... and embraces him. With the strings of the cello marked on her back, he continues to play the song as they slowly sway back and forth ... until he wants more from this moment ... much more. He stops playing, and embraces her ... feeling the curves of her body pressing against him ... her perfume is intoxicating. But then, all of a sudden ... pouf ... she disappears. He sits there shocked, wondering what happened ... where did she go!!!!! He didn't want the moment to end!!! ABSOLUTELY very deeply passionate ... yes, erotic even. It is a marvelous example of how very strong the power of the mind can be, for sure!!! It's FABULOUS!!!
This video reveals the intensity of this musician’s passion with his craft- the romantic passion he feels when he plays is as tangible as a woman in his arms. Wow- bravo to him for allowing himself to BE.
The cello is one of the most beautiful instruments, aesthetically and musically. I think this video could be seen two ways, one he’s playing a “wicked game” with her or two, look at the love and passion he plays his cello with. It could be a metaphor for passion and love for her
I have been in love with this song and all of its versions FOREVER. This newer rendition, is FANTASTIC. Strikes all of my nerve cords. This will be my entire personality for the next 2 months.
Somehow, I find myself returning to Hauser's instrumental version of Wicked Game. He's mastered sensual art, for she is his cello. Never missing a chord as though she's been there the entire time. Until the end, where we visualize his dream vanishing, meaning the song is over, however, beauty returns when he plays once again. Bravo.
This video is 🔥. The sensual emotional way he plays her, emphasizes the addiction of being played. His facial features, her dress, his hypnotic music sends you into a trance of sublime bliss. 10/10 for me.
All I can say is.. WOW!! I love how he played passionately; how the girl joined and she became part of the music and part instrument. The more he struck chords on his instrument, the more chords he struck in the deepest corners of my mind. As a guy, it felt like exploring unfamiliar territory. I really don't know what the music and video was doing to me mentally but now I need more of these. Anyone with recommendations? Also, thank you Hauser for this masterpiece.
What a beautiful moment between masculine and feminine energy. He awakens to her essence of creation and she allows herself to be taken into his gentle embrace. Their beautiful dance creates music so eternal and timeless. He gets lost in her music as he rests gently in her bosom. This is how you make sweet melodies (if you know what I mean 😊)
