I love my new aqua cloud sandals. Bought them in black. Running in them is gorgeous but a hellofa workout for the hips, glutes and lower limbs, even slow running. Highly recommend and am posting on a few channels to help people decide because I was nervous before I bought.

I had to experiment with the cords but when I got it dialed in for me, they have been great. I do really like the new tread as it has a bit more grip than previous Xero tread. Hope you enjoy yours as well.
I just started using my pair of Xero Shoes and I really like them. I'm now looking to get a pair of sandals, but my goal is to be walking barefoot by the end of the summer! Much Love! 🙏❤
It’s great for getting connected again with how we move and to the ground that brings a lot of benefits back to us. It’s great to have goals but listen to your body and adjust with what is right for you. Stretching is by far one of the best practices I’ve also incorporated into a daily practice. Glad you are enjoying Xero shoes and they are my go to brand for everyday events although I’ve noticed that some trails that are only gravel for miles gets old after about 15 miles. It’s a journey and your feet will strengthen but just saying listen to what your body is telling you also. If pain then it is time to slow down, stop, or rest. Pain is the body’s indicator before injury. Strength training takes time and is individual for everyone. I just know there is hype to say that barefoot is the natural way but we weren’t all brought up that way and our bodies adjusted over time and it takes time and effort to get back to where we need to be. Happy trails and happy journey to becoming barefoot.
@@JonathanLovelace Absolutely, I agree 100%! I've recently received a lot of messages from the universe that I need to ground and connect to Mother Earth. Apparently, I spend a lot of time in the cosmos of my mind! My hiking buddy is only ever barefoot, so I have a lot of support, motivation, and instruction on how to do it properly. I also have a daily yoga practice (my hiking buddy is also an amazing yoga teacher), so I understand the importance of listening to and checking in with my body. After this video I ordered my pair of Aqua Clouds (but in Black...the blue clashes with too much of my wardrobe) and will be looking forward to my first hike in them in the next few weeks. I'm back in Asheville now, so I have plenty of trails to try them out on! 🙏
They would be perfect for that. The only thing I have not liked about these shoes is while walking in a river through the water and because the sole moves with you then they don’t hold up to the drag that I had while in the water with them. They wouldn’t hold their shape when dragging in water. For all other purposes they kept my foot protected from stepping on debris but still gave me the minimalist desire of barefoot that I wanted.

Can I use them for urban hiking city streets, neighborhood etc. I do about 4-6 miles mostly cement?
