Prfs being usable in any class is actually so cool. Like in mainline FE - I want to play around with modern reclassing tools but it's always a feels bad to see the lord's signature weapon greyed out in their inventory.
13:11 Constructive criticism here: When you insert a message from editing-Dani, I think it would be nice to also transition from the gameplay footage to a designated "this is a message from editing-Dani"-screen. The visual cue would make it easier for the viewer to recognize when the inserted message starts and ends. Maybe even add some audio cue for the transition as well. It's just a small nitpick, but I think small things like this go a long way in making your (already great) videos more professional.
Yeah I did that initially but it ended up looking really ugly so I ultimately changed it back as a placeholder with the intent to look at it again before upload... And then forgot 😅
It's really interesting to see how this game handles reclassing while still making everyone feel unique with personal weapons and the reclass order system you mentioned! I'm definitely going to have to toss this one on the backlog for my post Unicorn Overlord SRPG!
A romhack so enjoyable I beaten it twice, both times in the previous year, and I'm feeling like playing one or two times again. It can get challenging many times, but it pays off for being fair, or at the very least not tedious to play. Like, as long as you know what you're doing and the things that you can do, it's possible to beat it. Also, maybe the Sephiran and dementia jokes were not so good to the point I don't even remember them being in the romhack lol. But at the very least I did enjoy great part of the game , both for the gameplay and both for the jokes.
This series is great! Thanks for bringing more attention to some of my favorite hacks. You should totally review Drums of War! It has fantastic writing, gameplay, and a unique boss recruitment system.
A bit of an unrelated note, but I'm vaguely remembering if there was another romhack reccomendation video of yours where you mentioned it having its own Black Knight-styled boss fight but with better executed gameplay than in FE9/FE10. Either I'm misremembering if it was from your videos specifically, but I can't seem to find said review in question again. What was the name of that other romhack? I was wanting to take notes from it and maybe use it as a baseline inspiration for some things I was planning for my own project.
I care a lot about the story of games that I play. I tend to need it to be at least possible to take seriously as a world in its own right. So... how possible is it to take the story of this hack seriously? Is its setting a place with a lot of goofy nonsense, or just a vessel for jokes? EDIT: I suppose the question is, how much does it run on its own internal logic that is the source of its jokes, versus how much does it do whatever the heck it wants simply on the grounds of "wouldn't that be funny?"
It’s a mixed bag. The story exists but isn’t the main focus. It’s primarily a vehicle for chapters and jokes to happen. There’s a clear internal logic and jokes don’t feel forced, but it doesn’t take itself very seriously. If deep stories are essential for your enjoyment, this probably isn’t for you. The gameplay here is really awesome though. I think it’s worth giving a try for a few chapters. It’s been awhile since i played, so some things might be different from what i remember.
remember gamers: always use rebca (the best unit in the game) and her awesome girlfriend
"or I could use the warp staff isn't peak comedy"
Ya cut me deep there Dani. Ya cut me deep.

That promotion system seems really interesting actually, I wouldn’t expect that from a comedic fan game lol
The mechanics are really deep, which i appreciate considering the other comedy hacks I've played are like... Bad mechanically
I'd argue that skill DOES have usage, since many proc skills like Luna, Glacies and Sol work off it
I absolutely love this Rom Hack, as it's both a challenge and a big meme. Would really love to see other funny rom hacks like these
I'm so happy to see my son Sharlow being all grown up

Two milk men go comedy is a comedy hack i guess?
Despite the name, it's actually a serious hack
I love ALL Dani Doyle videos!!!! ❤

Maybe On the Edge ?
I don't care game design, I don't care skills, I don't care story.
I just wan to be a cute trans girl in a Fire Embur game.
Two Milkmen Go Comedy has a trans girl as the main lord (She/They pronouns)
I am going crazy looking for a guide and i can't find it

If you want a serious story from the same creator, check out two milkmen go comedy. It is simply peak :)
@@aymr5590 That sounds... good enough to be worth giving it a chance. Thanks!
This is the only rom hack I've completed besides Biraku Emblem. Needless to say I prefer this one lol
Awesome! The people demand TMGC next
Streaming it now actually, on Wednesdays and Sundays
I could watch this video or i could use the warp staff!! Hahaha im so clever.
Please laugh.
-_-
I know you said there's a guide for this hack, but I couldn't find one on the FEuniverse page. Where is it?

So just got the hack and want to use a guide to get everything but can't find one if someone has one it would be greatly appreciated.
And then there’s the true nadir of comedy romhacks, the Ft He Who Shall Not Be Named hack.
