Really lovely habitat. Can't wait to hear what you think about Zoo Leipzig. It was one of the first Zoos I've ever visited and it was lovely. The city itself is also quite nice and historic, but most of the tours are in german unfortunately. We are not very tourist friendly...
Yep, you're still freaking top tier 🙌 A small habitat, but a smashing outcome nonetheless! Good luck on your trip mate, looking forward to the tours when you're back ^^
i went to singapore zooand for the first time in my life i saw a black tailed prairie dogs they were so cute but in this zoo they just look more in peace keep up the good work
by the way can you give me some tips on how to build better habitats like no barrier builds and guest viewing or resturants and just building and decorating
I keep forgetting how nice the texture of that piece is, and it look great as a wall. And lol I love the prairie dog sign, it's just a little more cartoonish than the others in this style I think, but it works well with those animals.
Really nice! I like it. You really achieved making a bare habitat (without plants) actually looking good. Also, interesting you found so many meshed over prairie dog habitats during your research. Because I only know open air prairie dog habitats (and I've visited quite a few zoos in Europe).
Not sure if you have ever been to the US but my two favorite zoos here are the Cleveland Metro Park Zoo and Fort Worth Zoo. Feel like there would be a lot of inspiration there for your San Bernardino Zoo!
The habitat looks great and Prairie Dogs in general are so much fun. The petting zoo also looks good so far. Prairie Dogs would have been a good inclusion there as a lot of American zoos will use them as educational animals, i.e. animals guests can pet. My zoo does that with our Prairie Dogs. With that said, I'm glad you're so happy about filling out empty spaces and again, the habitat looks great. Also, a smaller tortoise species would also be a good choice for a petting zoo as a lot of American zoos will also have them in hands on encounters like that.
Calgary Zoo just finished their brand new Polar Bear zoo if you need inspiration. One of the big features is that it offers a view of the horizon for the bears, which is crucial. Also, most of the zoo is on an island in the Bow River (and when Calgary flooded in 2013, the hippos and piranhas escaped!)
@@ZSHplays Well in the wild, the bears pretty much have a constant view of the horizon, there being no trees and whatnot. To go from that to a tightly walled enclosure where they can’t see more than 20m in either direction is a pretty jarring shift, even if they’re born in captivity. Calgary made use of a large hill at one end of the habitat and the riverbank on the other so that the bears can actually see over the wall and other habitats to view the southeast horizon.
Does anyone happen to know what the measurements are for those poster screens? The vertical ones, i cant for the life of me find it but ive seen loads of people use it
Such a good video! Honestly your building skills are insane!!!! 😁 What 1 building packs and 2 animal packs would you recommend to buy for console? Africa pack I will buy 100% Would you recommend North American? Also petting zoo is going to be insane!!!! (So is Sea Lion habitat 😁5:05) Can't wait for more San Bernardino Zoo content I am obsessed and rewatch videos all the time to help me with my zoo! Please answer my DLC questions!
You should go to Ouwehands dierenpark in the netherlands they just got koalas and they have pandas and while you're there why not go to burgers zoo and my my local zoo blijdorp love the videos❤ (Yes i have returned)
Yeh there are so many good zoos in the Netherlands. I've been there though and my route features two countries I've never been to so that trumped it in the end
oh, and what about Pairi Daiza, in belgium, it is the best zoo of europe, i really recommend you to go there, it is one of the most beautifullst zoo's i ever been too.
Well, it's debatable if Pairi Daiza is "the best zoo of Europe". I personally don't agree with that. It's definitely a zoo that is a must see because of the unique vibe and awesome designs. But the enclosures are worse than they look. Sadly, there are very few exhibits that I would call very good in Pairi Daiza. For example the whole reptile section within the ship is among the worst I've seen so far (and I've been to more than 30 zoos in Europe), the exhibits are very tiny and are lacking enrichment and hiding spots for the animals. Then the park has quite a few overcrowded carnivore habitats (e.g. the black bears) where the animals are probably constantly stressed. Just to name a few examples (there are more not so good enclosures). Also, I was disappointed on how the park is lacking education, the aquarium for example has basically no signs at all. Considering on how much money the park has, I personally was disappointed by Pairi Daiza. They build enclosures too much for the looks and design and not for the animals itself. There are definitely better zoos in Europe.
oh come on, it was not that bad :D The correct pronunciation of Schönbrunn would be "Sh" + "earn" but without the R + "br" + short u as in "look" + n. Hope this helps :D @ZSHplays enjoy your trip! Leipzig was one of the most fascinating zoos I have been to. Definitely pay extra for the boat ride in Gondwana Land, it's worth it!
The best part of Saturday has arrived
Aw, best comment!
very much agreed
The prairie dogs are soo cute, this habitat is beautiful love this series
Thanks!
Yay, more San Bernadino! I'm excited for the next episode of San Bernardino and also whatever videos from the real zoos you're going to!
4:36 Southwick Zoo is actually right near me, I went there all the time as a kid and still do lol

Thanks! Luckily I speak fluent German. By which I mean, terrible schoolboy German 😆
Lets go! More san bernadino! So excited every week to see new posts!
Everything about this series is amazing! Even though I’ll probably never play I love watching your journey. KEEP IT UP!! 👏🏽
Thanks!
Yep, you're still freaking top tier 🙌 A small habitat, but a smashing outcome nonetheless!
Good luck on your trip mate, looking forward to the tours when you're back ^^
Thanks!
Always love seeing your builds, gives me tons of inspiration. Paths are always the hardest part for me but you seem to be the master of them
Thanks! There will be lots of pathing in the next ep 😁
that subtle change to your intro *mwah*

oh yes almost forgot how do we make mesh aviaries too
Watching the series is the best way to learn cos you can see what I'm doing I think

As always, phenomenal! I’ve been watching since the first flamingos! Love ur vids!
Aw thank you!
Last Saturday I missed the joy of my day!
Good to have you back 😁
Gorgeous as always, ZH, You must try to make it to Monarto Zoo in South Australia sometime. It's one of the best.
Thanks! If I ever make it to Australia I will try and remember!
I’m finally all caught on my series
Amazing build Zee, those little mouses running around
Thanks!

Yeh a few people have said that, most of my inspo was in the US so maybe it's more common there?
Beautiful as always!! Also as a California native I'm so excited about the sea lions coming to San Bernardino ☺️
Thanks! I saw a wild one in Cali once, amazing!
Congratulations on finishing the Western part of the zoo! 👏👏👏
Thank you!
Nice habitat! It's funny, I've never seen a mesh-topped prairie dog habitat. All the ones I've seen were in the open air.
Me too, I've visited a lot of zoos in Europe (mostly Germany) and can't remember any meshwd over prairie dog habitats.
Thanks! Most of my inspo was in the US so maybe it's more common there?
@@Jo_nas That might be because their natural predators are not as common in Europe as in the USA
Can't wait for the new zoo tours! It's nice seeing them on video, as big crowds bother me unfortunately in real life 😅
Aww, I’m hoping to do a vid for each zoo but we’ll see how much good footage I get.
Im always looking forward to these episode
Awesome!
Not sure if you have ever been to the US but my two favorite zoos here are the Cleveland Metro Park Zoo and Fort Worth Zoo. Feel like there would be a lot of inspiration there for your San Bernardino Zoo!
Fort Worth looks great, I’ve used it for inspo before in the Hippo habitat
Fort Worth looks great, I’ve used it for inspo before in the Hippo habitat

I looove your videos🥰🥰 You explain everything so good and its so realistic, love it

Nice making the most out of a small space! Hard to make small habitats that are so well put together!
Thanks!
You will enjoy Leipzig Zoo. I go there almost every year my self.
I’m looking forward to it! Gondwana Land looks really cool. I wanted to use it as inspo for the tropics house but I didn’t have the space
Love the inclusion of North American animals, awesome! It feels so special to see the flying shot at the end of uninterrupted zoo
Lots more NA animals coming!
Omg❤i'm from Leipzig and I've always wanted you to see our gorgeous Zoo!!
I'm looking forward to it! Used Gondwanaland as a slight influence for the Tropics House
4:33 Monde sauvage is in Belgium. ;)
NOOOOO! Haha how embarrasing! I just assumed from the name.

@@RSPGamez12 Hopefully within the next 2 weeks. I would strongly recommend the Africa pack

Aw thanks!
How do you prevent the lag !?!? My zoo is way smaller than this and my pc is pretty decent so I don’t understand why it’s so dang laggy
nice
Thanks!
I just want to say that I am going to an overnight zoo in France for my birthday ☺
Hello!😁 I have watched every video since 2022!
Just forget to comment, amazing video!!!!😁🗣
Amazing! Thank you!
Okay i dont get it, where is the door for the zookeeper? How do they get fed? 🐒
If you put mesh Over the prarie dogs and th blue penguins, shouldn t you also put Over the meetkats?
Never seen Meerkats meshed over IRL so no need to
How much would San Bernardino cost in real life for maintainance alone
Hah I shudder to think 😆

Pairi Daiza was high on the list but, Austria>Czech>Germany made more sense travel-wise
I have heard this before, looks amazing but not always top for welfare
For a possible next trip. Germany - Belgium - Netherlands (Not necessary in that order) also makes sense.
@@ZSHplays but maybe for in the future
When do you think we’ll be seeing the sea lions debuting because you basically foreshadowed them in this video
In a couple of weeks is the plan
thoryri is the overnight zoo
Yo
Can you tour my Bronx zoo in planet zoo
I'm not doing zoo tours at the moment, sorry, I just don't have the time!
I wish I could play planet zoo
