This rifle will not disappoint. I've never shot any rifle at 325, 420, 545 yards before, and this rifle does not miss. I will hit what you aim at regardless of distance. :-)
I agree. It will shoot slugs in the 200+g range over a 1,000 fps. But they are not as accurate as the heavy 350g slugs. It also shoots the Mr Hollow Point 365g slugs well.
For what it's worth. The 350g Seneca slugs I was shooting so well actually weight about 337 to 340g. The same as the BinTac 337g slugs. 337 to 340g might be the sweet spot for this rifle. I will do more testing next week.
@@backyardairguns that's good info. That explains why they shoot at the same speeds as the 337's. That sweet spot at 337 could also be reg based. I'm gonna turn the reg up for the heavier weights when my MCAR comes in.
I wasn't trying to defeat 1721; I was just trying to get in his 500-yard club, which I did. Yes, he is absolutely amazing and his free hand shots can not be repeated by anyone else. I am working on a 500-yard trick shot with the MCAR that will even 1721 will find challenging. :-)
@backyardairguns in my opinion you do the best breakdowns because you do the power test you do the range shooting so I watch your show constantly!!! If I want to learn about a gun and what it will do I watch you!!!!
I'm shooting it at 600 FPE out of the barrel. I'm not sure what that is at the end of 500 yards. I will have it back at the range next week and I will measure it using the FX True Ballistic chronograph. I think this rifle will take down an elephant at 500 yards! :-)
impressive but I for sure wouldn't call that 4 out 5 hits. 2 was a miss, maybe it nicked it but the center of the shot was not within the circle. 5 was a miss, it hit the hanging ear, again center of shot was not within the circle.
@@backyardairguns wasn't about feelings. sorry if I hurt yours, maybe I should've worded it differently? If you had drawn the same size circle on a sheet of plywood, only 2 of the shots would have been inside the circle. It's just weird to call shots outside of the target area "hits"
@@Brianbri-nq3cc "hit" refers to a shot that successfully strikes the target area. The circle is the target area and the center-line of the projectile is the point of impact. Still makes it 2 out of 5. You are the only one that mentioned bullseye 🤡

I have absolutely no need for one of those …. But I want one !!!
I'm still laughing at your comment. 🙂
Same 😆 🤣
Me too😂😂😂😂😂
Wow Amazeing !!!! I also love that music.
Thanks Bonita! :-)
2:57 super cool to hear the projectile just before the sound of the shot
That big 350g slug flying past the camera down range does make a cool and scary sound as it passes by. 🙂
That's incredible!
This was my first attempt at shooting 500+ yards. This rifle is special.
Got one pre-ordered! Can’t wait!

Thank You Kadarkadarson8050!
Amazing it can get to 500 traveling so slow. Good work!

@@backyardairguns Same, my most accurate slugs I have I got from Proslugs. The 380gr HP boat tails @925 FPS. ✌️
Awesome job Mike!
Thanks Dave! :-)
Is that awsome or what !!!! A nice Christmas gift for sure !!!!😊
Crazy Accurate at very long range!

Thank you Ronnie! I got my long distance training by watching your videos. :-)
@@backyardairguns ha !ha ! Some time I'm lucky just to hit targets 😄
Great video bro as always.
I promise to get some 365g Hollow Point data to you. 🙂
I just order 200 of those today for the MCAR.

1721 is undefeatable !!! Although you did do a good job he free hands everything 💯

I really appreciate that Jerry. This TH-cam channel is a full-time job (that I love) :-).
Clearly you have the “nut” behind the scope adjusted properly. 😂
That's so funny Motor! The nut behind the scope get's luck every now and then. This was a great day at the range.
@@backyardairguns - luck does it once or twice but I hear ya. Nice work.
What did you think about Hog hunting with the MCAR 457 up to500 yard ? Is there enough Energy after this distance for a kill shot??

@@backyardairgunsBig bore slugs shot at airgun speeds typically still have at least 2/3 of the muzzle energy at 500 yards.
Wish I had the bucks
That’s like and 8” group. It would be nice if it could group a 2” group

Hello Sir,
Hello from the U.S. Could you tell me, if Asian countries allow most airguns, like Vietnam, Thailand, etc.?
I'm really not sure. I would suggest you try Google on this question.
@@backyardairguns omg, thankyou sir!!!
