The Funks reversomatic there is a fun one to rebuild, over a hundred little needle rollers to fit by hand and hope and pray they stay in place while you press the main and counter shafts in, then you use a slice of a cork to seal the shaft ends.

Borg, likes to have variety. I made four different cams, for the Ford transfer cases. Always behind on the first op, because they had two machines, running the second op. Three a minute, while they had a 45 second cycle. Seems like they have partnered with Tremec, back in the nineties, to save labor costs. The part, looks like what we made on the screw machine. Tremec might be a cheaper source.

I had the mystery of the 3 steel disks vs 2 with my loader transmission as well. I just put it back together same way it was and so far so good. My 4 year old sons encouragement to eat well is he want his legs to grow long enough to to run our loader! Good idea on the extra fluid reservoir, they don't hold very much, I'm assuming the train runs a cooler as well? I added a spin on filter in the cooler circuit to help keep the oil clean hopefully as well as it adds about a quart of extra fluid to the system
