Hate how treble hooks destroy the fish. I have a few whopper plopped but don’t get much use. Been thinking about switching the hooks out from treble to single.
I just got my first choppo the other day it’s a 110 I think 🤔 but I think the choppo won because it’s louder and seems to get bigger bites!!! I can’t wait to catch my first choppo bass 🎣!!!!
Just saw you channel and saw you fishing the choppo. I love the choppo. It does the job well. So does the whopper plopper 75. Cannot wait till September for the choppo 75

For sure - both lures slay without question. I might have a slight preference for the Choppo just because I've had better success with it in windier conditions
For some reason whenever I cast the Berkeley choppo out for the first few seconds it stays underwater as there is slack in my line is there a way to fix that
I'd keep an eye on your rod height. If it's too low sometimes the action won't kick in right away. Also make sure the wire holding the prop in place isn't bent - overtime sometimes that happens
yup - there are tons of small ponds and lakes north of Boston. Google maps is a great resource, but I always cross reference it with Fishbrain to make sure there aren't no-fishing signs etc.

I got a big set of 7 of the whopper ploppers. And have one choppo and catch more fish on the choppo than I do the ploppers

Dude open you’re google maps or whatever you use tons of pond up there . Lucky for you they look small enough to learn quickly .
