I didn’t know there’re so many people knowing this circuit obscure for western people ,which is located in the middle part of a small country in Far East. Then I realized it’s famous to some extent because of Gran Turismo.
I remember, back in November 2019 things were looking extremely good for DTM, with the cooperation with Super GT finally really taking off. But sadly it wasn't to be. Now "DTM" gives its name to just another GT3 series, while Super GT is standing as strong as ever.
Next Dream Race should be held in Germany, but with SuperGT Race format. I want a 500km Race on the Nordschleife, with driver changes. (I'm sure the DTM teams can find some additional drivers for that). Add cars from GT300 / ADAC GT Masters as secondary class.

With DTM decided to go with GT3 regulation then i hope they can still do this collaboration but with GT300 cars (BRZ GT300, Prius GT300, & Supra GT300)
That's because it was a DTM championship race. The DTM cars have push to pass and DRS whereas the Super GT cars do not. For this dream race, the DRS and push to pass was disabled to make it a fair competition.
Tien Tran yea, because they still aren’t balanced yet. But they are planning to get DTM balanced with Super GT with different methods. Hopefully it will work, this series is fun 😁
Honda was by far the best car from both championships. Too bad the cars crash into each other and they lost all the gap with those safety cars. They would have been easily 3 Hondas on the podium
I have an idea how we can make the DTM and Super GT more equal. We keep the two races with a standing start, and one driver makes up one race and between the races we change drivers and refuel the cars. So we have the double sprint races with standing start from the DTM and the drivers change with refueling from the Super GT.
We need more of that. What a race. Sad that some GT500 spun and dnf. Great event!

not that obscure considering it featured on the Formula 1 Calendar for a few years
It was a Formula 1 track as well, 1976 for instance the title was decided here plus there were famous races in 2007 and 2008 too

It has been tried before in Imsa, but it didn't happen in the end because no American manufacturers joined

Shoul've been Witmann who needed to get a pen over Duval, Duval put him on the kerb but Witmann pushed him off track
