I think Olivia and “blondie” (not Debbie H) had the greatest takes on the song. Grease was 1978. Great movie. Thanks for doing this Olivia version of "If Not For You" i read that Olivia didn't like Bob Dylan's version of this song so they used the George Harrison version, so she changed her mind about the song later, and i agree with you that Olivia's voice is very special just like Karen Carpenter's voice also very special like a Angelic voice. You still have many songs and albums to go before you reach the famous year of Olivia's career "1978" the year with Grease, so i can't wait to see more. 😉 💛

I have always thought this song is beautiful & sung beautifully! The days ONJ had some great Country hits. My favorite ONJ song is "Please, Mr. Please" a great story song. I know l've mentioned this to you before. I miss those days. Music is just not the same. I had a greatest hits cassette tape of ONJ with all the country hits. Not sure if l still have it or if l threw it away cause it started squeaking. Hated it when that happened to cassette tapes!😥 You look & sound like your not feeling well. Yeah I have severe GERD, I have been coughing up food and acid when I’m sleeping. So I had to have an endoscopy and they found my throat was constricting so I had a procedure last Thursday and had mt esophagus stretched and I have to have a full surgery in a couple of weeks. They said I had severe erosion of my esophagus with an ulcer and hiatal hernia and the sphincter to my stomach is no longer closing. So yeah it’s been rough. But I will pull through with Gods help. Hey Patsy had Scarlett fever when she was 7 and it affected her vocal cords and the dr said she may never be able to talk again. So maybe after I am finished wit these surgeries I can come out singing like her. Lol I wish
@coldfire7141 my mom would have e to get her throat stretched because it would close & she couldn't swallow drinks or food while she was dealing with the cancer. 🙏
