Great video. I'm going to put one of these up in my home office for my deactivated rifles (live in the UK). About to watch part 3 now. Thanks for uploading
Thanks! In my later ones I show the vertical storage method I change over to. Let me know what you think.
Nice collection
Loved the video! I've been thinking of doing this and no one has a good video on it. Also wanted to know what type of hangers you used so thanks for including that.
Great rundown. Dave from U K
I'm gonna be making a gun room soon so I really appreciate the ideas. Looks good and thank you for the video. Nice collection by the way!!
Thanks, check out the newest one. I changed the design a lot from the original pegboard.
I'll check it out. Im sure it's one of those things that will never be completed or just when you think it is, bam. New idea lol.
I just started getting into them so I'll have to check them out. Also thank you for taking the time to respond!
This looks like it would hold up comparably well to the manufactured gun walls online, which are so expensive.
Cool project. I have second thoughts on the hooks. I'm gonna look for bigger hooks and see if I can put foam around them.
I dont have that many rifles so my pegboard will be small. Thanks for all the tips though.
If you can find bigger pegboard hooks that will work with rifles please let me know. I had a hard time finding the ones I use.
I like it👍
Had to subscribe and get notified. Met you today at the gun show (engraved early Broomhandle). Thanks for stopping me from selling it. I'd like to pick your brain and talk milsurp.
What About Enfields?
I've been researching affordable mounting options for a long time. Seems like people have steered away from the composite pegboard for concerns about durability and taking the weight of the guns. Based on this video, it seems like there is not nearly enough stress on the holes/hooks to be concerned about too much weight. Would you concur?
Could this just be state by state but dont you have them locked up in some way?
joelopezjl28 usually when you do this the room you place them in is hardened against unauthorized entry.
joelopezjl28 I hardened a tough shed for gun storage once.
You just need an idea of how to do it.
