I think the darker shades WILL leave a more brown tinted stain on the lips. Because of the previous, more red based, applications, your lips were already stained with a shade of red, therefore, the brown stain couldn't actually "grip".

The blush called "Worth" really reminds me of the "Love" shade, except the Love is a slightly darker.

Ooh this is what I wanted from the Victoria Beckham lip stain. It gathered all over the creases of my lips and these looks a lot smoother 😍
These stay well in place!
I find that the Sigma F15 duo fiber brush is perfect for picking up the blush from my hand and applying to the face. Light, circular motions work as well but that's a great tip to use a stippling brush like that. I was always in fear of picking up too much until I started using that brush. The last lip stain was my favorite but you're right how they look kind of similar once removed. These weren't even on my radar so thank you!

I like the fact that they stain, too, mean I don't have to constantly reply. It definitely does have a tingling feeling. I have happy going to pick up the blush and honesty in the oil.

This was so informative and honestly I think I will stick with what I own already you convinced me that I don't need these. In Canada there is only 1 shade left for these so lets see how well it goes over in terms of how it was marketed vs how it is. I need to try my peripera one which is a k brand that I bought not too long ago because I think the concept is the same except the rare is glossy. and those ones apparently last forever so I am excited to see if I already have something comparable.

All the shades were gorgeous, but Delight was my favourite but this is of course because it's Rose Brown and I'm a cool toned lover that loves Brown lips shades.

I have some of the blushes so I know how good they are. I am light with cool undertones - do you think I could wear virtue? I do like Worth but I was thinking of going outside my comfort zone. The lip stains look interesting since they leave lasting color behind. Thanks! ❤
Oh I think you can absolutely pull that off. Just make sure your lipstick or eyeshadow is not too cool tone!
Stila came out with a new lip stain and is similar to the ones you tested today. I got the shade ‘Michelle’ which is a brick red/maroon color and boy oh boy did it stain my lips. I was able to apply a lip balm a few hours later and the color was still there. Anyway, the system in which it is delivered is different but good. It almost looks like a calligraphy pen making it easy to line the lips perfectly.
Also, I’m looking for a new warm colored cream blush, I may grab one of the colors you tried today, they look beautiful.
The Stila ones are definitely interesting. I have a few of them.
This was so helpful!! I had no idea it was a lip stain, I ordered Happy when it was an early Sephora rouge 24 hr access. It is a nice concept hybrid lip-oil-stain. Also, your complexion looks impeccable!!! Please do share what foundation you have on 🥰💕💕looks absolutely flawless!!

The formula of these is not a lip oil at all. They are a glossy lip tint formula that is very popular in Korea. They were even made in Korea. If you are looking for a balmy, cushiony lip oil, then pass on these. If you are not familiar with the K-beauty formulas, this is how they work. When you apply them, even out the color with the applicator or by rubbing your lips together (whatever you like to do with products). Then, DO NOT RUB YOUR LIPS AFTER APPLICATION. Let the product sit and it will form a watery film. Rubbing your lips together throughout the day will make the glossy layer disappear faster. If you swatch them on your hand you can see the film forming better. The formula of the Rare products is similar to Romand dewyful water tints but the Rare have a stronger staining effect. I personally think the Rare lip tint looks smoother on my lips than the Romand. Hope this helps.

I didn’t hear about it until a few days ago. I may test it in store to see. I liked the old formula as well
They feel like the blistex tingle that's short lived. I tried this out for my 12 hour shift today. I had to reapply throughout the day and really dried out my lips and they are burning at the end of my day. I bought the color happy and it just stained around the edge of my lips like a liner. I do have really dry lips normally and I was hoping these would hydrate.

Tania. Random question. What’s your all time favorite nude lipstick that’s as light as it gets that youre comfortable with? I’m looking for a nice lipstick that’s much lighter than all of this but doesn’t look like concealer lips.
Hm… I need to think on that.. I love the Tom Ford First Time as a peachy super nude, I love the Charlotte Tilbury Kim K W, or Penelope Pink. I always use a liner with these nudes

I have the fenty and I like those. But right I am LOVING the new cle de peau. Omgosh, I am all about them. I got 2 matte, 2 shiny, 2 sparkle. And I LOVE THEM ALL!!! I want more 😂
They are not transfer proof or stains. But they feel amazing and they are luxurious. I mean for the price they better be 😉 But I can’t wait for you to try those.

Exactly same feeling like you 😅...I think they should call "hydrating lip stains " ...because the gloss fades around 1 hr after applying and leaves like the stain with a bit of shine...nonetheless I love themm bc lately I have been looking for a good stain and I have benefit but is just different...I love stains because my natural lips are colorless basically..and someday I just want a little color and no lipstick....ps. Cannot stop looking at your nails😍

Funny I just posted on someone elses video that there was a missed marketing opportunity. If they called it a lip oil stained I would think people would be more interested. But to your point, some people won’t like that. So I guess pros and cons of name. But I think lip oil stains is better name.

I have hope, and it didn’t really show op on my lips, ( I have pale to pink lips) it did stain very little and it came off easily when I wiped from both my hand swatch and lips 🤷🏻♀️

I wish there was a true nude or baby pink. I did have Hope in my cart but it’s too pink for me and Honesty was my second choice but I wasn’t a big fan either. 🥴 I guess I saved some money at least. 🤷🏻♀️ oh but you did sell me on the Virtue blush, which wasn’t on my radar at first so I’m not saving money after all lol.
I’m a nude light pink girl myself and I tried hope but I absolutely hated it on me. It made my lips feel super dry after about 45 minutes being on. Check out the new Mario lip product in the shade “soft blush” gorgeous baby pink color. “Soft nude” is also beautiful not concealer lip it’s a nude/light brown!

Red light when you said it tastes chemically and that you felt the tingling in your throat...otherwise the lil oils look beautiful
Does it help with treating dry lips?
Honestly it’s very hard to tell from wearing them only once, but my lips felt moisturized.
I’m not sure if I reacted to a certain ingredient in this lip product but after wearing it yesterday it made my lip feel incredibly dry.

The oils are made to be layered.
I think the lip stain colors were not totally accurate because your lips were already very stained and darkened by the prior shades! I'm guessing that is why the stain from the orange shade Joy appeared to have a bit of a pink tone, maybe it was the residual pink shade you tried on before it.
I do agree with that! I think I mentioned something about it in the video, but those won’t come off with any makeup remover. Maybe with some oil based one

I am so shocked they’re marketing these as a balm or treatment vs a stain. The staining quality of the product seems like the identifying factor rather than it being a balm. Maybe they didn’t think stains were trending enough.

Unfortunately I didn't like the lip oils at all. I got Honesty and I wanted the nude brown shown online and I felt like it was red brown. And it was not moisturizing as its supposed to be an oil. It fully dries into the cracks of the lips. And I wanted a tint not a stain.
Yeah, these are marketed very different than what they are. I didn’t find them necessarily drying, but not moisturizing throughout the day. Once the gloss is faded the moisturizing feeling is gone

They are the dewy finish and worth is supposed to be a dupe for the CT wand in pillow talk but not matte a dewy finish . They need to make these part of the permanent line not limited. I got them as soon as they launched I got the notification at 12 am on the 29 th. The easiest way is to apply it ( a dot ) to the palm of ur hand u can even mix the shades I mix hope and encourage all the time a dot of each rub my brush in it on my hand cover the brush tap off like on the back of the hand and and tap on the face it's easy to control the pigment that way I never dot it on but I think I told u my trick . I didn't order the lip oils I just wasn't sure about them and wanted to see other thoughts and them on I don't like super bright or dark lips and I don't want them sticky or to sink in lip lines. I hated the Tarte juicy plump things everyone loves they dried my lips out and made them burn .
I don’t like dark colors or bright colors I’m a nude or baby pink or peachy girl so I tried these in the shade Hope bc it looked the lightest but I hated it on me. It also made my lips feel very dry which is the opposite of what it’s supposed to do
