Dialogue with Master Vash on M4-78 explains why Kreia's bond to the Exile disappeared later in the game (and why killing her wouldn't kill the Exile). On M4-78 Vash's apprentice thought his master was dead and went to the dark side. When you ask Vash why he couldn't sense she was alive, she explains that a sudden shift in alignment can break a force bond. Also, while Force Bonds can cause extreme pain, they aren't fatal.
Statement: When Kavar says "Those that travel with you...", your character is supposed to read the minds of your companions that you take with you into the encave. That won't normally trigger untill the TSLRP is done. to make it work, you have to go in with companions. They stay at entrance. Go back out, go to pary screen re-select them, go back in, go to solo mode send them in first, then you go in. It should trigger. It wont work with kreia, the droids. and someone else IDK why.
Parts 1 and 2 are favorite videos that you have posted, JediShemL. I really like the additional dialogue that the Jedi Masters and Kreia have in this video. I especially like Master Lonna Vash appearing in these two videos, since she is my favorite Jedi Master in KOTOR, despite having a few lines in this game. Masters Kavar, Vandar and Zez-Kai Ell are my other favorite masters too.
This was just mind-blowing to me when I first saw it. I gathered them and had my character forgive them for their actions against me as I expected them to let the matter of going to war lay at rest, but then they pull this shtick and decide to screw up everything. Kreia couldn't have been more right in saying, "...the arrogance!" The exile stood against evil and proved that they could defeat it. And all the masters do is fear you and condemn you. Self-rightous assholes, all of em.
It's funny that even though you were wrong about your prediction, the return of Revan is stupid. Kind of like anytime I read anything Star Wars related that happens before ESB and someone is frozen in Carbonite. Thanks for the great mods, and for these videos as well. I appreciate all that you do Shem.
Thanks for the response, I play this game on my vista which thanks to a friend of mine I was able to play. I still wish Obsidian expanded on the game without Lucas-arts breathing down their necks and rushing it. Despite being rushed it's still a great game.
you should write these summaries because the people that are interested like me like to know what u used and what u did. hay you asked for a good reason :) carry on
There is a way in the game in KOTOR (1) where you can meet with the Jedi Masters on Dantooine. -I know there is an option where you can fight them, but I only did it once, so I don't know of other options.
Anyone who hasn't heard, go to the page deadlystream . com This is the home page of the mod TSLRCM. It improves the game soooo much. It restores lost content, completes the storyline etc. You can read more on the page. Btw, trailer for the mod: watch?v=8rOBUChvxp8 and another: watch?v=Nh3N1qXg9bU
Most mods are for pc although there are a few for the X-box version (Like turn Carth mission and Canduras to Jedi in the original game) you could probably mod it using a tool or something
Actually I just started a new game and warped there. My Exile is actually on Level 1. That was my way around it so I don't have to go through a whole game playing on the light side.
@TheJedimaster6788: Well, I'm not going to pay money to update my computer, pay for a game, then pay for a monthly subscription fee on top of it. Now, if this game were to come out on Xbox 360, I may reconsider.
The scene with the Red Eclipse keep on playing even though I finished the quest already. And when that happens, I cannot board the Ebon Hawk to go off-world... I don't know why.
I also noticed something, almost everyone other than your party members call her Kreia, the council members just say "I thought you had died in the Mandalorian wars". Atris merely say "Kreia, that is not her name".
I did. The thing is this issue with people telling me that I can do videos over 10 minutes is getting old, so I like to challenge them and have them get back to me if they can do it just to prove a point. That usually shuts them up.
Or frozen in carbonite.......in the Sith Emperor's chambers..... There was an army from Revan's Sith Empire that was frozen in carbonite, and in the end of Star Wars Empire at War, Forces of Corruption, a Sith nightsister reactivates and revives them, so it's possible........
I wonder what would have happened if all your companions were with you when you met the Jedi Masters. I would have liked to see how your companions react to the Jedi's view on you. I bet Atton and Visas would have had something interesting to say.
What's funny is I said something like that to Sunriseray about Ugipse. It is very sad when someone doesn't even notice the annotations (which happens a lot around here). If you can't notice those, then there is nothing else I can do to help someone.
The thing is that wasn't expanded on and I'm not sure why. Meanwhile it's been over 8 years since the game has come out so don't expect any explanation about it. There has been speculation, but that's all it will be.
i have this mod that allow the player to find lonna vash in the skyrack cave, after you fight revan (go to filefront) she died. :( sion found us and then she sacrife her self to save me
Yeah, there's how many theories about who she is? There's the one that she's Arren Kae, the cut concept of Kreia and Atris switching places, how many other ones?
Notice how she has hardly any dialogue 👍🏼 I would say it's either a glitch, or he's covered some old coding to add her in. I think she had a bigger role but they cut it out cause...whatever reason?
i'm pretty sure it was budget cuts, so they had to leave stuff out like the factory on Telos and I think there was supposed to be another planet and more stuff to do with the Handmaidens and Atris.
Vash's role changes according to which Cut Content. She was originally supposed to be on the Droid planet but ran out of time. Then she was supposed to hold off Scion in the Sith Academy and die, while the Exile escaped. Then they just had her corpse in the Academy instead. My guess they recorded some of Vash's lines, but then switched over to just having her killed off.
I believe Revan is dead as well, he went to fight the True Sith, but the True Sith came and he didn't come. Yet, Yoda lived 800-900 years from the Force, perhaps Revan remained hidden for 300 years training Jedi? We will just find out.
Interesting stuff about how EA can just do that to an Obsidian game. Not that I care about the games being released to the Ipad (because I don't have one), but at the same time it's good to for those who do have the Ipad and decide to give the game a shot that have never played it.
Thats only because Yoda's species lives that long. Humans don't last 300 years, They just dont lol. But if bioware lives up to what they are saying with their "massive" story content in the game, There might be some small history of whatever happened to Revan, but that is definately never going to be as a good as a full KOTOR 3
actually shem i think i figured out how 10+ min. videos are possible. If you had a directors account back in 2006(before the 10 minute rule came into play) you still retain the ability for 10+ minute videos. I can't do it as i join last year. also i figure you knew this already.
how do you get here? I have completed all the quests and the quest on the menu screen even says that I've convinced them all to meet on dantooine, I've been everywhere there now though, the kinrath caves, the sublevels, I've checked the caved in door on the other side too. I've literally been everywhere, and nothing has been different.
It meant that everything that happened at Malachor V, maybe even the whole Mandalorian War, changed the Exile into something better in a way. Someone else could probably explain it better but thats how I see it.
Does anyone know exactly how you get this encounter? I did it once, but didn't know how I did it. Is it only if you are light side, or do you have to be not completely light? And does it have an alternate ending?
God, dick move by BioWare. They should have made KotOR 3, so we can find out what happens with the Exile, and Revan when they both travel into the Unknown Regions.
What I find interesting is you saying that BioWare didn't forget about KOTOR as it is now on the Ipad, however then you mention that the sequel should be ported soon, but that was made by Obsidian, yet you acknowledge Obsidian as you realized they exist and made KOTOR II when you mentioned them as being better as making a KOTOR than BioWare. Just seems odd is all. ;)
when i played this part i had already played the game purely light side, yet when i arrived to speak to them the only dialogue options i had was to kill them. they said something about how i had turned to the sith or something, i thought you had to kill them?
TheInspire96 I did that too even though I was on the light side and NEVER on the dark side in my whole playtrough I think I screwed up on Onderon when I accidentally helped those bad guys because I miss understood something xD
heh i always kill the masters. They fuck you over regardless, so i just kill em anyway. My favorite thing to do is tell the masters im not looking for a fight, then when i get to the rebuilt enclave betray em and kill em all. Fucking loved kotor 2 the best rpg i have ever played besides the original kotor.
I love how the jedi accuse the Exile of crimes but also have a master grow a pornstache
I love the music to this scene. It's a sad, quiet theme that fits the scene well.
Statement: When Kavar says "Those that travel with you...", your character is supposed to read the minds of your companions that you take with you into the encave. That won't normally trigger untill the TSLRP is done. to make it work, you have to go in with companions. They stay at entrance. Vandar can't be dead?!? He must've survived somehow like Yoda did!
Parts 1 and 2 are favorite videos that you have posted, JediShemL. I really like the additional dialogue that the Jedi Masters and Kreia have in this video. I don't understand, how does Vash turn out to be alive, if she inevitably (?) gets electrocuted on M4-78 by the main AI?
@JediShemL It is, actually. I love the deconstruction of the black and white morality that is found in so many RPG's.
Thanks for the response, I play this game on my vista which thanks to a friend of mine I was able to play. I still wish Obsidian expanded on the game without Lucas-arts breathing down their necks and rushing it. Despite being rushed it's still a great game.
This game probably had the best writing and voice acting in any game ever made.
@Kunoichi360: Pay attention a little closer. What Vrook is saying is that Vandar died on Katarr. That happened "AFTER" the first KOTOR game. ;)
That's actually an interesting thought and it would be something I would have loved to see play out.
you should write these summaries because the people that are interested like me like to know what u used and what u did. hay you asked for a good reason :) carry on
It sure is when it comes to Yoda's species!!
There is a way in the game in KOTOR (1) where you can meet with the Jedi Masters on Dantooine. -I know there is an option where you can fight them, but I only did it once, so I don't know of other options.
Vrook was the only Council member from KotOR 1 to survive. Everybody else was killed by Nihilus on Katarr along with all the Miralukas
Depends where you live. I got the last copy of the X Box version at the local Game Stop.
Actually it's going to be 300 years later, but yeah, it's going to be a long time after this game.
Anyone who hasn't heard, go to the page deadlystream . com

Now, if this game were to come out on Xbox 360, I may reconsider.
there will be an MMO called The Old Republic. It's set 300 years after KOTOR2. Go to the lucasarts website for more information on the game
Part two has finally arrived now. :D
Awesome video!
The scene with the Red Eclipse keep on playing even though I finished the quest already. And when that happens, I cannot board the Ebon Hawk to go off-world... I don't know why.
hey shen do you reckon a mod could be made of the apprentice from the force unleashed e.g the bacward lightsaber style and his costumes?
I never managed to get that female Jedi master back on Dantooine. She was always dead when I found her on Korriban.
sweet... I always liked Vash the most. Besides Kavar, of course! ;)
I also noticed something, almost everyone other than your party members call her Kreia, the council members just say "I thought you had died in the Mandalorian wars". Atris merely say "Kreia, that is not her name".
>>Stick to the light side.
>>Still get screwed over by them.
I did. The thing is this issue with people telling me that I can do videos over 10 minutes is getting old, so I like to challenge them and have them get back to me if they can do it just to prove a point.

thats my favorite part of the game
I wonder what would have happened if all your companions were with you when you met the Jedi Masters. I would have liked to see how your companions react to the Jedi's view on you. I bet Atton and Visas would have had something interesting to say.
@McWiggles411 They were, they had plans and it was beggining to take shape but Lucasarts cancelled it.
It's called the 10 minute rule on TH-cam and both parts are well above 10 minutes.
What's funny is I said something like that to Sunriseray about Ugipse.
It is very sad when someone doesn't even notice the annotations (which happens a lot around here). If you can't notice those, then there is nothing else I can do to help someone.
Because they fear Nihilus and they're too ignorant to realize that the Exile is the only one who can defeat Nihilus.
The thing is that wasn't expanded on and I'm not sure why. Meanwhile it's been over 8 years since the game has come out so don't expect any explanation about it. There has been speculation, but that's all it will be.
all the people who ask "why is Vash alive" Don't read video descriptions... Y U NOW READ VIDEO DESCRIPTIONS! -_-
"Then you are learning..."
This music was my favorite out the games.
I really liked KOTOR II just as much as I.
1 had more shock value but II had more philosophy.
@Jartarf: What Phatooine was implying is that you didn't seem to notice the annotations in this video. ;)
the male Exile to me is cannocal the a female exile
@Shem L Do you remember what mod those robes come from?
@McWiggles411
what if the old republic touches on what became of them?...
i have this mod that allow the player to find lonna vash in the skyrack cave, after you fight revan (go to filefront) she died. :( sion found us and then she sacrife her self to save me
You have a vote too, you know, FlyThTh.
Yeah, there's how many theories about who she is? There's the one that she's Arren Kae, the cut concept of Kreia and Atris switching places, how many other ones?
cant wait for KOTOR3. its guna be so huge
Vash got killed in M4-78 and why are they not wearing jedi master robes?
Notice how she has hardly any dialogue 👍🏼 I would say it's either a glitch, or he's covered some old coding to add her in. I think she had a bigger role but they cut it out cause...whatever reason?
i'm pretty sure it was budget cuts, so they had to leave stuff out like the factory on Telos and I think there was supposed to be another planet and more stuff to do with the Handmaidens and Atris.

My guess they recorded some of Vash's lines, but then switched over to just having her killed off.
Has someone already asked you about what program you use to record your footage?
I believe Revan is dead as well, he went to fight the True Sith, but the True Sith came and he didn't come. Yet, Yoda lived 800-900 years from the Force, perhaps Revan remained hidden for 300 years training Jedi? We will just find out.
Yes, they have and I used Fraps.
lol sorry i was so amazed by the scene i didnt bother to read the blurb haha
Interesting stuff about how EA can just do that to an Obsidian game. Not that I care about the games being released to the Ipad (because I don't have one), but at the same time it's good to for those who do have the Ipad and decide to give the game a shot that have never played it.

But Lonna Vash is dead! how did u save her from korriban.
Nope but there will be an MMO called The Old Republic. It's set 300 years after KOTOR2. Go to the lucasarts website for more information on the game.
i got the last copy of the X box version at the local Wal-Mart

I can't do it as i join last year.
also i figure you knew this already.
You and Sunriseray ought to start an "idiots on TH-cam" club
Just thought I would say that I still haven't played that fucking MMO game and still won't. Shows how much you know.
how do you get here? I have completed all the quests and the quest on the menu screen even says that I've convinced them all to meet on dantooine, I've been everywhere there now though, the kinrath caves, the sublevels, I've checked the caved in door on the other side too. @Blackdogable
Mods for the planet M4-78 you can get her
yoda species can live long but any species that gains a particuler mastery of the force can gain an extended life span Eg jedi master odan urr
Shhhh... you're not suppose to notice that.
So does the M4-78 mod automatically alter this scene(to insert Master Vash) or does that require a seperate mod as well?
Ok Shem...keep telling yourself that : P Now DON'T go to it at ALL in your life! NEVER ok? You have to stay true to that :P
@McWiggles411 i doubt that they'll probably explain what happens in swtor look at the last vid.
How did you get her to survive M4-78?
@rainbowwesley: Because she's not a Jedi.
huh> how come master lonna vash is alive? isn't she suppose to be dead in dantooine?
@warrior770: I didn't add that personally.
is this in old republic: knights of the old republic sithlords?
Nope it's gonna be an MMORPG titled The Old Republic and will take place 500 years after KOTOR 2. Go to the Lucasarts website to learn more.
Oh okay I already have that but thanks for helping me anyway.
So are the jedi masters talking to nihilus?
It meant that everything that happened at Malachor V, maybe even the whole Mandalorian War, changed the Exile into something better in a way. Someone else could probably explain it better but thats how I see it.
Is the DS version of this confrontation with Kreia on Dantooine on TH-cam?
Does anyone know exactly how you get this encounter? I did it once, but didn't know how I did it. Is it only if you are light side, or do you have to be not completely light? And does it have an alternate ending?
God, dick move by BioWare. They should have made KotOR 3, so we can find out what happens with the Exile, and Revan when they both travel into the Unknown Regions.
But Master Vandar was alive at the end of KOTOR, Vrook.
yeah but he died off screen but vandar could have beat or atleast held him off had he not been snuck and killed
master ooh whats his name? the biker jedi isnt he the ai voice for nod in c&c3?
It takes some special skills. ;)
I never read it, nor do I plan to. I read a summary about it and was disgusted with it.
@WolfenNights: Isn't it great? :D
The Old Republic is NOT KOTOR III.
Just seems odd is all. ;)
where did you get tose robe from jedishmel
wtf was kreia saying? *atlast you could see...*
They were going to make a kotor 3 it got scrapped in favor of the mmo.
Hey, do you have any idea why my KOTOR 2 blocks on Narr Shadaa?
Oh, get over it. By the time the MMO game is out, Revan and the Exile will be dead -- guaranteed. And you can bank it.
when i played this part i had already played the game purely light side, yet when i arrived to speak to them the only dialogue options i had was to kill them. they said something about how i had turned to the sith or something, i thought you had to kill them?
yeah same
you kill each master individually when you find them after your dark side reaches a certain point
TheInspire96 I did that too even though I was on the light side and NEVER on the dark side in my whole playtrough I think I screwed up on Onderon when I accidentally helped those bad guys because I miss understood something xD
Private Switch i think i did that on my first playthrough too lol, sided with the wrong guy by accident
TheInspire96 it's weird that even get the choice to do that xD The game is like "Hey we see you are more of a good guy! Do want to help the bad guy?"
Lonna doesn't really have much dialogue here, does she?
heh i always kill the masters. They fuck you over regardless, so i just kill em anyway. My favorite thing to do is tell the masters im not looking for a fight, then when i get to the rebuilt enclave betray em and kill em all. Fucking loved kotor 2 the best rpg i have ever played besides the original kotor.
