This year's Sabbath school lessons have all been remarkably good. Thank you so much to everyone at It Is Written for bringing us the best Sabbath school content, and thanks to the authors for their hard work. It's a blessing to watch the academics in particular discuss the lessons, sharing their insights. God bless all of you!
Hello everyone. Thank you so much Dr Tom Shepherd and Pastor Eric. You are doing a very important work for the Lord. And as followers we are so blessed each week . So, let us allow the Lord to teach us, to train us through the power of the Holy Spirit as He did for the twelve in the name of Jesus. Amen
Thank you so much for this resource. As a Sabbath School teacher, it is great to hear the thoughts and explanations of the Principal Contributor to the lessons. I hope you will be able to continue these interviews each Quarter.
Thank you . I’ve been following this program for years from Martinique and I can tell it’s been very useful as a sabbath school teacher. Thanks a lot again 🙏🙏
❤wow what a beautiful insight and wonderful explanation,,I always learned a lot..maybe I can't go to church becoz of flu but I will watch thru online Sabbath worship.. Godbless 🙏🙏❤️🙏❤️🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Isn't it amazing that Jesus' most pivotal teaching on discipleship has been largely ignored or forgotten in modern Christianity, replaced with the easy crossless teaching of the prosperity gospel and the name it and claim it health and healing false gospel? It is still an authentic demand of discipleship and should be willingly and gladly carried out because only the things that are bad for us fall in the category for self-denial. They all can fit under this one text: Whether therefore ye eat or drink or whaever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31 For example: We should ask ourself: Can I eat or drink this to the glory of God? Can I wear this to the glory of God? Can I go here or there; do this or that to God's glory? If the answer is yes accorfing to the Scriptures, then we are likely safe in doing it. If the answer is no ask the Holy Spirit to help you to gladly and happily refrain from doing it. The motive for doing what we do is of very great significance to God.
Mark 8:29: "And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ." Compare with Matthew 16:15-17: 15 "He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 "And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 "And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven."
Just to add a question to this wks lesson, in jn13:27---, Jesus said to Judas that thou doest do quickly, what was Jesus asking Judas to do quickly?? Note the answer will reveal your knowledge of the gospel.
@@goldenmom334 that's the common or general concept by most people and leaders. However this is not constant with the (good news or ospel)plz prayfully try again it's so sad that most of God's ppl hold to this view sad indeed
Cut off the offending leg; pluck out the infected eye. It is better to go to heaven without these than to retain them and end up in hell. This is an exaggerated way of saying cut loose from every SIN and DEFILING thing in your life because these would UNFIT us for Heaven's pure amd holy atmosphere. Help us Holy Spirit. I appreciate that unpopular insight because it is the truth.
