Didn't know that, so cool!! It's always the right choice because they'll feel safer and more comfortable with their own team, they nailed it 🥳
Park gitae has also been credited for some of their songs so he's worked with the guys for quite a long time. Glad to see the appreciation not just for svt but their team as well. As they say, i luv my team i luv my crew 🥺

though this stage seems like its not made for kpop, and the bbc filming was not in sync with them, i think this step was huge. Glastonbury is one of the most iconic stages with great history. its such an honour to play there and they deserve it. They seem more real than ever!
tha cameramen were not ready for this stage haha yea I agree that they were not in sync but its also maybe because the cameramen are addicted to Jun’s visuals haha

Of all the festivals in the world this is also one of the most anticipated in terms of musical quality and one of the largest in size. its a great tradition. I think the fact that they were embedded in such an established stage was very important also for woozi as a musician-producer. if you take a look at all the acts, its incredible, few hours later, i mean there was pjharvey standing on the same floor... For SVT this is definetely a big experience as well. It was in the afternoon, they have to keep it short, its a different audience, they come in contact with so many good artists (i hope). its a different kind of experience and i am sure it ignites a another kind of ambition to accomplish more with your music. Congrats!

Seventeen made history in so many fields: they made a group of 13 people popular and loved in the west, which is not common or well accepted as it is in Korea or Japan. And they all get along so well together, not for the cameras or the money but for the joy of being together and do what they love: dance, sing and have fun. That's why I love Seventeen: they are a genuinely talented group!

The difference of the reaction on Maestro to the crowd hype during Aju Nice is stark. You can tell that not even 20% of the crowd are carats AND YET it didn't even take them 1 hour to win over the whole crowd.
Also the difference in audience. It tells a lot on how they can attract non-fans. They probably went there to wait for Paul Heaton at the second half, so demographics is leaning more to oldies. They did absolutely well 💕 i hope there’s more after the berlin one.
For non kpop fans it's never late to stan seventeen, as carat you will never regret stan seventeen 🔥🔥

I've been watching Glastonbury and Coachella performances for a decade now as I'm into a lot of indie and alternative acts. I've only gotten into Kpop less than 3 years ago but seeing one of my ult groups headline Glasto is making me so emotional rn idk I can't explain it. It feels unreal, like my worlds are colliding. As an asian and someone who now feels a profound connection and love for these men, I can't even put into words how happy and proud I am 😭

The irresponsible writing of a supposedly professional journalist Megan Lawton published by a supposedly credible news outlet BBC tarnished the 10 years of hard work and reputation of Woozi and Seventeen and fueled another round of fan wars.

@@krismr6162 BBC twisted Woozi's words in a press conference. The way I understood what he said was that they're "keeping up with the ever-developing technologies such as AIs and using them and undestanding the strengths and weaknesses of it" but the BBC article straight up said that "Seventeen uses AI in creating their songs". Woozi recently refuted in an Instagram story (I think???), it was basicaly a black background with white text with only one line "All of Seventeen's songs were written by human creators."
P.S. The ones in "quotations" may not be what they said word for word but it basically encompasses what they said.

uk is used to boys girl band, but they are often ranked as teen music, and not on air since its foreign band, that explain low public at this stage, yet seventeen is ahead, more professionnal, more choreagraphy, music more main stream, they are really good, and are the most selling band in the world right now, we see public chill, discovering them and start dancing later.

What I love about the whole set is not only the stage presence is also the inclusion of the live band (something us fans have been asking since 2017) bc it fits Glastonbury (a mostly rock festival) and what makes the members of the band perfect is that some are part of Prism Filter (Bumzu's producing company), like Park Kitae, that have been working with Seventeen since their debut so they 100% know and understand SVT's songs to make those arrangements made by Woozi or/and Bumzu sounding so so SO good
