This is from quite a few years ago. He is playing a Schlub Brassworks Trumpet. If you like the horn - check out George Schlub and his company. American made , custom instruments.
Christian M You're actually wrong my friend the position of the valve slides tell me it's a ganschhorn and the fact that he uses the word "ganschhorn" at the beginning of the video. Gansch was the first one to design it and Schlub actually confirms this.
Wayne I know you are a star in your own right but wouldn’t you like to be remembered for something other than screaming into the high register? This is why I much prefer Wynton Marsalis as he can portray every emotion.
Listen to The Incredibles 2 score and get back to us. Wayne captures excitement, heroism, fear, and plenty of other emotions on top of a stunning display of technical expertise on the horn and total ownership of the art of recording (which is, of course, a very different art from live performance). This isn’t to say that Wynton isn’t fantastic (he obviously is), but that comparing the two of them is unreasonable because they’re both masters, but have slightly different domains. Calling excellent sushi “raw fish” doesn’t make the chef any less of an artist.
There is a difference between a soloist and a lead player.. Wayne bergeron is one of the best lead players in the world. His job is to play the high notes. Wynton Marsalis is a soloist. His job is to play the solos. That’s why Marsalis don’t play lead in the Bigband but the second trumpet.
And as said above, just because he plays so much high notes, doesn’t mean he can’t portrait emotions. He is so well known because he is a good musician. Not just because he can play so high.
Guy next door: “that guy sounds like Wayne Bergeron”
This guy should think about pursuing a career in jazz.. he's got some serious talent!
@Colin O'Leary yes xd
@Colin O'Leary F'in wow.....Just....F'in wow

The real one is called Gansch Horn (Thomas Gansch) and made by Schagerl Austria
This is from quite a few years ago. He is playing a Schlub Brassworks Trumpet. If you like the horn - check out George Schlub and his company. American made , custom instruments.

Christian M I’m a little late, but I can 100% assure you that this is a Gansch horn as Roland said.
