Another obscure ‘sports’ game I really liked and it had some depth was Grand National

Kikstart 2 was brilliant and having a course designer made it even better. Something like that was very rare back then.
Angle Ball rings a bell. Ive always like those sort of pool/snooker/crazy golf games with good and essy to use mechanics. I noticed the Action Force review above this one. I know i played that cos my best mate was a massive Action Force and Speccy fan 😎.
Ive never heard of Hill MacGibbon but they seemed to have made some interesting looking games like Special Agent, Rally Driver, King Arthurs Quest and Car Journey. They might be worth a further look.
That Maradonna match is the first match i ever remember distinctly watching. I think his second goal is overrated. No one out a tackle in ir tried to foul him. I remember my dad shouting at the telly a lot in that match 😂.

@paulward2076 thanks mate. I was doing ok until midnight hit and then the depression came crashing down. I was expecting it of course, just didn't think it would happen on the stroke of midnight!
I'll probably keep making long videos as I just can't shut up! It always astonishes me how much I waffle on. I had some absolute dickhead comment on my firmware video earlier and I snapped. He said something like "Mate I can read a website, why don't you do something of value in your video (s)". It really wound me up. The guy has 50 subs, 20 videos on his channel and one of them is a 5 seconds video showing a shower that's faulty! And he wants me to do something of value!!! Some people are a joke. At least it explains why I get one dislike on every Spectrum video. I said a few choice words to him, and I ended with "and by the way you're not my 'mate' if you're gonna come to my channel and slag off my content'
By the way I agree, if we could have tackled for shit on that Maradona goal it would never have happened. Totally overrated!
@YouveBeenGamed God bless you Lee. Im sorry its hit you hard. Hopefully you can keep yourself occupied til the worst of it passes. You just treat it like any other kind of illness and give it the due care and attention it deserves.
You always get a few cynical and mean people, dont you? I think some just lack and tact or empathy and some enjoy being mean and getting a rise out of people. More so these days.
I dont mind that you waffle on at all. Im sure its good for you and im the same myself. I can be very quiet but if i talk about something im interested in i can talk quite a bit!
Keep on doing what you do and keep doing whatever you need to take care of yourself and get by.

When you next do a sports game list, you should include Rugby Boss purely for the guy on the cover art who looks suspiciously like Freddie Mercury 🤣🙈
