I am realy not so enthusiastic to use a drill press as a grinder.
But you made a shortcut to stabilise the sideway pressure.
So the way you built it, is the only good way.

Hi, I have a similar idea, but I like the removable ring idea, mine doesn't have that ability to use various sizes.

Nice Video! It was interesting to see dust collection both above the table and below. That always seems to be more effective. The above table dust hose appeared to be clamped to the drill press column, but how it was clamped was unclear. Could you tell me?

I like idea to use laminate for flat surfase. I see u use it all the time. How tick is it, wath glue you use for it and is it durable? Thanks
in most projects i use 10mm laminate, and super glue glues it very well. Thanks
