Man this song brings me back to high school, I remember showing up when it was still dark outside and no one was there so I could meet my girlfriend (at the time) before school after she finished softball practice and sitting in the courtyard listening to Arcadium as more and more people started to show up, the orange floodlights made the entire courtyard look surreal and I’d sit there and listen to this song and feel sad and like I was missing something for some reason. Now sitting here in my living room 8 years later I feel the exact same way, it’s like I’m back at JMHS sitting waiting for Jessica to show up and I still feel like something is missing. I don’t know what this feeling is but a few RHCP songs give it to me. Amazing band.
