Hey there! To all who are interested: In Germany there are four license types when riding a motorcycle, depending on your age and experience: A, A1, A2 and AM whereby A is the full, non-limited version and AM is the option you basically have already by owning a license to drive a car. It's allowed to go up to 45 km/h and includes not more than 4 kW rated continuous output - easy. Too slow for many, though. So until recently you had to go through the regular driving school process, including theoretical and practical exam after so and so many hours of learning and driving, provide proof of first aider, eyesight testing and everything ... License type A1 goes up to 125 ccm and required all of the above -- but in the end of 2019 in Germany the law has been loosened up a bit due to new regulations waived by the secretary of transportation. Now if you are at least 25 years old and have a driver's license for at least five years you're allowed to apply for A1 license that would only include 4 x 45 min. of theory and 10 x 45 min. (or 5 x 90 min.) of practice. No other requirements. And no exam. So I'm currently in the middle of this, waiting for my practical lessions to start. You have to own the right clothes though, they are very specific with this, but other than that it's now fairly easy. And speaking of this ... I know you recommended not to buy this as a first bike but this is what I will do and hopefully not regret it. Seems a lot to go through. In California, we have a written test-- 3 tries-- plus a "road test" where basically there's a deputy watching you as you stop, turn, use your hand signals and blinkers, do a figure eight, a circle-- just to let the officer know you can handle the bike you brought with you. The age, I believe, is either 15 or 15-1/2, but our traffic laws-- and the enforcement of them-- are both pretty strict. They take traffic offenses seriously here so you had better, first know the rules, and second, follow them. Getting a violation is a real nut-buster. The roads here are the safest-built that I've ever driven on, as well. And there's a strong police presence on the roads, so the 3 things combine to make the accident rate one of the lowest of the fifty states.

I wouldn't have thought Denver had people living in tents in the city like that. I've lived in a lot of states throughout the US and have scene other areas like this. Where I'm currently living in NC, I haven't scene tents or even homeless people out in the streets on corners or anything remotely close to that, but it's mostly small farm towns. Gotta say, I prefer living here. Sad to see that though. I saw plenty of people in that situation in DC, Maryland, NY and Cali. Anyway, super cool bike. Any info on the rear brake light setup. My 2020 just shipped. What you did looks way better than stock. Also like the bar ends. Do you find the pegs comfy? Little seat time but I'm thinking that's an upgrade I want to do.
Congrats on the new zero! I built the taillight custom. The pegs are comfy for sure.
@@RollingWrench right on. Thanks for the quick reply.
@@RollingWrench HI! I'm also super interested by the tail light. Can you share what light component you used?
Ditto on the tail light
I also love the tail light set up. Some more info would be great!!
Great video👍 Nice jacket. I have a 2016 fxs. Can my app be set for 110 mph? I think at 110 my power would last like 5 miles lol. At 60 mph I get like 32 miles.
Enjoyed tour around Denver
Epic used to be in SLC. How’s the bike off road?
I don’t understand how this bike in 2020 doesn’t have level 3 quick charge, especially with only 50 miles of range it would help so much if you could charge it outside your home
You can with an adaptor or the slow charge with the supplies cord
In september Zero will show their new 2021 models
I hope to see 8kw DC Chargers on FX as an option and 3kw Charging port as a basic
Also improving the battery up to 7.7kwh
These bikes will just keep getting better and better :-)
Rolling Wrench let’s hope they are worth the wait. I really love these bikes but sometimes they have some drawbacks which make me question whether or not they are worth the price.
KK Leo Did the price is in the ride in my opinion. The fit and finish is only decent. The ride is unbelievable!
You had me at Tron Bike
You gonna stock larger size jackets?
Is there underseat storage?
No :-(
@@RollingWrench Hmm... Where do you keep registration and such?.
Want this bike so badly I keep watching videos and know that I can't get it....
Make it a goal to get one :-) you only live once :-)
@@RollingWrench I live in South Africa so have no idea how to import one without the 40% import tax
@@julianmac have someone buy it and ship it in pieces
@@RollingWrench good idea
I recently swapped my 85 Honda spree with a gy6 150 I would like to see you attempt it or do it
Awesome bike! Out of curiosity what's the 0-60 on it?
Around 3-4 seconds most likely. Most motorcycle model acceleration info seems to be primarily end user based. And not from official certification. Only nascar and rich ppl stuff do that for the marketing. And since zero isnt exactly super into the extreme side i doubt they will.
Hey i need some advice I have a 150cc gy6 it’s a Tao Tao powermax im upgrading my exhaust and want to upgrade my carb what do you recommend it’s stock except the exhaust
I went from a 1600cc street bike to a 50cc scooter. Talk about feeling like I'm barely moving lol. I do want to try riding one of those Zeros some day.
Most of these folks are the result of a degraded society. They had bad parenting, if they had any at all. that then lead them down the path of destruction. If you are raised like an animal you'll soon become one. Zero practice of delayed gratification + victim mentality = destruction. Just what the LEFTIST desire for their TOP-DOWN totalitarian state they have been fighting for.
Does it being so quiet make it dangerous? I mean cars don't hear it and pull out in front of you. That is my biggest fear.
I feel like people are always in la la land and the sound won’t get their attention anyways. 🤷🏻♂️. Just ride like everyone is after you.
Got one of these yesterday.
Havnt got the quick chargers, they are expensive in UK.
What is price in US,can you link a supplier?
Update - just seen you supply them, can you ship to UK?
I'm in uk mate are they good. Had a ktm exc but only did 18 miles on charge
@@urbancyclist4280 hello
Yes,bit pricey, but after that there are no costs.
Very fast off the line.
@12:58 a wild Volvo 850 T5R appears. Those are really rare.
Nice spot
Man, there are tent cities everywhere.. :(
Camping is fashionable these days.
I love it bro
Sweet ride.
Why don’t you think this would be a good first bike?
It will. You just need to get in the app and turn the power down. This video was a bit misleading on that subject. I apologize.
Pretty good vid mate, very informative the secondary charging port could be more intuitive though. Overall this bike is awesome
