Only the bass, drums, and vocals. Guitars were re-recorded in 2011 and the synth or sample arrangements were the last to complete around 2007-2012. There have been small changes to those orchestrations on Time II in the meantime. I recognize at least one new sound type from the previews that was not present before Spring on The Forest Seasons.
These early songs show how Wintersun (Jari) matured over the years. They are bunch of cool riffs mashed together without a musical consistency and there is no "peak" point in the story telling, songs slow down or go faster without any obvious reason. With that said, wintersun is one of my all time favorite bands.
Another Wintersun...Day. I really like these new "demos" I think they sound better than the four seasons album that they did a few years back. This sounds more folkish, kind of like Ensiferum, a little mellower too at points, but still rocks pretty hard. These demos are impressive. Thanks for the uploads, gents!
These demos are better than other bands whole finished albums.
Bal Sagoth and Summoning hooks up with old Ensiferum at the battlefield ⚔️
Exactly, he is heavily influenced by Bal-sagoth especially the Starfire album.
@@KaiAst How can he be influenced by a 2016 album when these demos are all from the 90s?
@@MalanethStarfire is 1997
Guys, 4 of the demo's that have been released now are songs that Jari recorded for his fantasy metal project, including this one
I believe both TIME albums were recorded in the same session around 2006… so the TIME albums are almost 20 years old

Yes! Everyone wants to hold Jari’s package. You know, fondle and stoke it appreciately. 😅

Well said. And yet many metal bands would be lucky to have even this level of songwriting, let alone Jari in his peak form.
But man does he have an ear for riffs and melodies! They've been mindblowingly awesome throughout his carreer
