Hi Kristi! I just wanted to comment and say thank you so so much for your videos. I’m currently in chemotherapy and I used to have hair down to my butt, and I chopped it off to my shoulders. I know it’s silly and so simplistic but honestly I feel so much better about it seeing your hair the same length. I’ve always felt that I couldn’t be pretty unless my hair was LoNg and fLaWlEsS. You make me feel so good and your videos bring me such joy ❤

Oh sweetie! I’m so sorry for what you’re going through. I have pancreatic cancer that was just diagnosed. I have really long thick hair that’s been my thing forever. So I understand completely. We are so much more than our hair though! May God bless you and keep you throughout this journey and always. Wishing you an abundance of blessings!

“All brands should be!” YES. Cruelty free should be the standard. No animals deserve to be used by us for us to look prettier 😢💖
And alot of people don't actually realise that these animals are bred for this purpose and will end up being killed after being tested on. The testing isn't the only unethical thing its the WHOLE system. I've seen alot of people justify skincare animal testing too. Its all absolutely unnecessary and cruel disgusting behaviour.
I co-founded a skincare company. Technically there is no such thing as cruelty free skincare or cosmetics. All of the ingredients at some point have been tested on animals. Whats important to not test the ingredients on new animals. Sadly animals cruelty is apart of all ingredients in your skincare and cosmetics. When formulating I made sure the ingredients I chose were no longer tested on animals but I knew as some point they were.

@@raspberrykissable Thats a fair point, but it’s still really important to be clear that people have to decide whether or not to support companies that still actively *in 2022* test their products on animals. Or instead to support companies who’ve taken a stand on being cruelty-free (and lost access to certain large markets in the process). We can acknowledge the past but still make better, more ethical, choices about the future.

Oooh did you hear ELF is becoming an ethical brand! Cruelty free, fair wages, and all their sources for ingredients are ethical. I think it’s a slow roll out, like as products sell out they are replaced with the more ethical version. So truly cruelty free!! 😍

LOL. As a K-Beauty consumer as well, "Fix, Fixer" means set, setting. It just means that the foundation sets on your skin, even without a setting powder. Anyway, I believe that CLIO has gone vegan and cruelty-free (I don't think they ever tested on animals). They released an updated version of the cushion foundation that is totally vegan now.
Clio is not cruelty-free. They do offer vegan products. I found an answer with a simple Google search.

I'm not as into the super highlighted look these days either and more of a natural glow. Try applying your highlight before your blush. The blush subdues the highlight, but it still peeks through the blush for a glowy look. 😊

Watching her finagle with the Korean cushion compact and reading the weird translations makes me smile so much and takes me back to when I lived in Korea and all of this was new to me too, lol (and yes, more often than not the higher end Korean cushions will have the refill included). And "makeup fixer" just means the color should set without a fixing spray. Korea has been and will always be more if a mask wearing country because of pollution and other stuff, so even if dewy skin will always be in style there, because of the masks that makeup has be slightly longer lasting.

Clio kill cover was my go-to foundation in 2020 when i came to korea! This makes me want to use it again, i remember loving it idk why i stopped lol

Have you seen Kiki's (of Salt New York fame) video from several years ago singing to you and asking you to review her line? I just bought my palette from her and it is 100% amazing and now that I've got my hands on it I wanted to spread the message. At the very least you should watch her video dedicated to you because it's too frickin' cute. PLUS! Their products are cruelty free

Korean cushion foundations tend to be like that. I don’t wear a lot of foundation bc my skin is weird and it’s uncomfortable, but the Korean cushions are great. There’s quite a few cruelty free brands to choose from. I tend to love k & j beauty. The ingredients are innovative and even their expensive sht is cheaper then American high end stuff. Like their super fancy skincare isn’t cheap, but it’s not like western insane pricing.

When you pulled out the caramel brown eye pallet I thought NO that’s orange! Despite that you pulled off an absolutely gorgeous look that’s fall ready. You also had me jumping on those sigma blushes until I saw the price and I talked myself out of one…damn! Also I hate to tell you this but I just read that vegan lashes are made from plastic. We just can’t win 🤯
