PS5 Pro is a spearhead for the PS6. All the data gained from this aera will give Sony better data to make the PS6. PSSR will be tons better at the PS6 launch, devs will already have good knowledge of it etc. And it's still early. We won't see really good PSSR implementations for probably 6 months. With that said. The Pro isn't _needed_ by anyone at all. The amateur PS5 still has legs live & kicking. For people with 4k 120Hz VRR, preferably OLED sets, it's a good upgrade. For everyone else, maybe not as much. But regardless.. All the data Sony gets from this will result in a better base PS6 for everyone.
