I have never watched a anime/show better than Clannad.. I know my choice may be bad or old type, but trust me Im not lying. Its 2nd season literally out tears on my eyes.. Im being honest, I dont give a damn about crying due to a show or anime, but Clannad after story was just a different thing..
Some animes like pancreas, re zero, ylia, golden time, made my heart broke but Clannad was literally a total depression.

Paradise kiss isn't on this list but is my fave if you're after something that's a bit more grown up and realistic. And also created by the same creator as Nana. Personally I prefer Paradise Kiss to Nana, I love Nana though don't get me wrong. Also as an adult rewatching paradise kiss, I think the ending makes so much more sense too and is also more realistic to how life actually goes.
