- Hello this is the first react video I did for this channel, to make the debut of Alab mv interesting I wanted to record my sisters and cousin (who are not A'tins and don't listen to any kpop/ppop/jpop/etc songs) react to it to see what might a normal filipino non a'tin fan would think when they see the music video.

What I liked about this vid is the fact that these are honest reviews. Hindi nambobola ang mga nag react.
It is actually quite refreshing to see a non A'tin's perspective.
Also, dun sa nagsabi na weird sila for not knowing SB19 😑
Magpakatotoo tayo dito na marami pa ang di nakakakilala sa SB19 but that should not discourage the fandom dapat gawin nating motivation ito para ipaalam pa sa nakakarami na may talented P-pop group na dapat nilang pakinggan
Tama ka! Some co a'tin feel so entitled na e were still starting and there are still a lot of people that needs converting especially those who dont listen to this type of music (kpop, ppop, jpop etc) yun yung pinaka hardest to convert but the most satisfying. Of coarse for them it will be weird at first but as long as they see the potential that we, a'tins have seen in the boys, there is always a chance of them being a fan in the future. Ang ginagawa lang nitong rude a'tins are gatekeeping and making the fandom look bad

Good thing na lang na mas marami ang mababait na A'tins. Sila yung di nangungutya ng iba instead they patiently explain everything you need to know about SB19 & the difference between Kpop vs Ppop

Anyway if sejun nga nung una hindi siya into kpop but eventually did, what more sa iba noh. Dapat talaga remain humble and explain it especially to normies who are new to all these, and especially to the new type of music sb19 introduced to the opm industry.

While I agree that SB19 still has room for growth and still need more polishing in terms of music videos. Ang room for growth di naman nawawala. That's how you move forward. But budget wise kasi di pa ganun kalaki production budget ng SB19 compare to other k-pop groups. The talent is already there e bigyan mo ng malaking budget yan for production and I assure you di kayo bibiguin ng boys.
Truth!!! The talent is there, as long as they stay and grow, everything around them (prod for mv for example) will improve too 💖

The guy who said they (SB19) still have a little bit of polishing to do, I guess the reason for that observation is because the music video is more on cuteness which I think he did not alway see from male KPop groups, kasi parang he's expecting angas-type MV which nakita na niya sa ibang KPop groups, kaya parang ang dating is they (SB19) still have a room for improvement. If only he watches them perform Go Up and Love Goes live, that comment most likely will be taken back. We know how talented our boys are, and there's no question about it. The boys will continue to improve.

Thats what i think too hehe anyway from my discussion with them after i believe theyll eventually be a'tins because theyre very positive about their future which i hope sb19 manages to convert more people to be their fan. I believe the boys can 💙

When I saw this front page of non a`tin reacting alab mv. what comes into my mind, they for sure gonna compare it into kpop, and its actually they does, but then as a open minded person we cant please anybody to like them as that. yeah hindi sila KPOP but they are heavily influenced by KPOP, music and aesthetic-wise so parang they are in the same genre but in different languages lang so di talaga maiiwasang mapagcompare yung two.
I liked how you tried to clarify that PPOP is no longer a new term as XLR8 had used the same brand before. I used to be a fan of XLR8 when I was 12 y/o, and yes, I agree that it's such a shame they weren't able to be as big as how SB19 is getting nowadays. XLR8 had raw talent and potential in them, they just weren't ready that time. You see, they were the first act to be branded with the term PPOP. That was also the time when the Filipino KPOP community was not very open to PPOP (because that was still the 2nd Gen KPOP era and 2nd gen KPOP is (not was) the best!) Back then, the Filo-KPOP community was so hard to please (even up until now) and XLR8 wasn't ready for it. The timing was off. Not to mention they weren't trained properly nor were they handled by Viva properly. It's such a waste, really. But here we are, years after XLR8's disbandment. Thank goodness for that blessed tweet for acquainting us with SB19. PPOP has never sounded this good. These boys deserve all the recognition they are getting right now. They deserve the world.
I miss xlr8 era, they had a lot of things to improve but they had potential...sadly they werent managed well. Almost all ppop groups came and go and nothing really stuck until sb19 kaya sobrang nakakatuwa yung sb19. Sana after this the next ppop groups would see them as an inspiration to work hard and be disciplined.
Nag-enjoy ako sa reactions nila kasi ganung-ganun din ako sa umpisa until kinarir ko na pagiging A'TIN ngayon. Hindi lahat ng bagay, magugustuhan ng lahat ng tao kaya wag masyadong mapanghusga. Kung hindi nila type, ok lang. Kung dumating man yung panahon na ma-in love na din sila sa music ng SB19, ok din yun. Sabi nga ni Pinuno, "Always choose to be kind." Sana hindi makalimutan ng mga A'TINs yan. :D

woah I love this reaction video... A’TIN po ako but I agree with what the guy who talked about the mv quality. It’s not as glitzy and sophisticated compared to kpop groups. ALAB mv is definitely an improvement from the Go Up mv in terms of quality and aesthetics though.
Nevertheless, it’s the boys’ talent that should shine. The song is lit . It’s a shame lang na they don’t have a lot of budget for mv production. thats why dont skip ads, buy official merch, kapatid 😘

I still do have critics with the Alab MV itself but after seeing Go Up, i was happy at what we got sa Alab 🤣 BUT i do hope we get better quality next comeback, i feel like studios here in philippines cant accommodate the quality were looking for so i do hope for their next comeback, a korean studio or thai studio gagawa ng mv nila (case in point is inigno pascual's latest mv na gawa sa korea and the quality is so good huhu)

Siguro hindi nyo naabutan yung mga melody noong 90's western pop. Kadikit neto. Actually yung KPOP may influence lang din naman sila ng western at uk Pop. EDM yung beat. Nakilala lang na sa KPOP yung ganto kasi mostly ganto ginagawa nilang song. Satin kasi puro hugot songs.

the MV is inspired by 90`s boyband pop kaya the MV is kinda not that high quality compared to kpop. but yeah budgeting is also a concern. let's just all be patient guys. even Sarah g's 'Tala' took 3 years to gain such massive popularity.
Actually didnt have too much expectation when i heard it was baked studios gagawa ng mv nila, theres no studios yet in philippines i can think of that could produce the mv quality i think were looking for. I do hope their next comeback mv would be made by a korean studio or thai studio base sa mga mv qualities ng thai pop and kpop (ang lalaki kasi ng studio locations doon)
