The thing about movement speed bonus cards is that they soft cap, like a lot of other stats. So you never see them on most characters, once you've got all the meta progress, because their speed is high enough that the game reduces the probability of you getting one by a huge percentage. Ludwig is slower than other wizards, so you see them when you play him. But that ALSO means that Offensive Defensive is not really going to ever hurt you that bad, because as it makes your speed go down, the probability of cards that make it go back up gets higher. So you end up drawing a bunch of movement speed cards *because* you have Offensive Defensive nerfing your speed. And combined with either Joined Defenses, or Bountiful Quests, the Offensive Defensive relic basically doubles your damage. There's very little point in taking it without at least one of the other two though, as Armor soft caps at a relatively low value (Compared to the hundreds and hundreds you get from those relics) Ice is nearly wasted as an infusion on slow attacks like Cthonic Charge, because the slow from ice doesn't scale with the damage of the attack, so you really want it on something that's going to stack the ice effect as fast as possible with multiple hits.
This guy knows his stuff, and I agree to all of them. It's sometimes frustrating watching OHRye because of all the missed min-maxed options, but he's the only youtuber who plays this who I like binging on the whole run watching.
@@moongirl786 Sadly no, you just have to figure them out by playing. I can tell you I've never once gotten another armor card after picking up a +50 armor card, but keep in mind that I have all the meta progress including starting armor. I can tell you that luck soft caps between 25 and 28. If you have a luck value of 25 or over you probably won't get another. Movement speed seems to soft cap somewhere around +30-35%. Once I got the meta progression maxed out, I don't think I've ever drawn a movement speed card on a wizard other than Ludwig, unless I took the Offensive Defensive relic first. Dodge definitely caps at about 80%. Crit chance I think can reach 100% or maybe even more. Damage is uncapped. Not sure about cooldown reduction.
Spell Size for the Win! Thanks for the vid! Also I personally my priorities would be to take every fortune/luck I could get before spells. I think at the end the sound of the hex bomb which sound like a drum overwhelmed the background music.
Really have been loving your videos since I found you since endless mode released on here, honestly keep it up your doing an amazing job and i think all your videos are amazing
1:11:40 ; _ ; that movement speed upgrade. You've been really lucky getting those movement speed upgrades in this run. There have been several videos you've posted where you didn't get ANY movement speed upgrades and that to me is crazy. Just to clarify, I mean that in the fact that they just didn't show up at all.
That has to be some of the worst Objective luck I have ever seen, wow. Fun build though! Also, 84 armor would be your starting number with Ludwig if you have the meat progression maxed out; meta gives +80, Ludwig gives +4
Dont quote me on this as im just speculating. I think the reason why you were getting Seal the Rift is because you are using Ludwig, and one of his outfit quest requires him to sacrifice enemies (on that event) and the devs might have something coded that he will get the event more often to help on that. Much like how each wizard have 2nd 3rd and 4th spells that appear more often as they synergize with the initial spell. Again, im speculating.

Are there any online resources that have information on these soft cap values?
👍Good tips. Thanks!
@archiox0628 as a side note, the majority of my builds are never meant to be min maxed, they’re to go overboard on a spell or concept.

Solid run
The objectives were unfortunate but at least there wasn't a ton of 0 dmg ticks

You passed 3 movement upgrades😂
RIP
On discord they acknowledged that movement speed upgrades are glitched and almost not showing up at all and they are working on a fix

Wildfire made the burn dmg go from 41 to 148 on same creatures

Possibly 🤷♂️
Wonder if the swords attacking through walls in intentional or if they'll patch. It's a big plus though.
I hope they don’t, I think they should keep it as is.
We just got the new patch live. How about a video about unlocking one of the new skins?
Ya, I’ll try to do those.
You have to much manuver..
There’s never too much.
