Watching bea and frankys fight and boomer and lous together has made ne think that bea would have beaten lou in a shiv fight. Bea ended up alot stronger later in the show than what she was here, it was basically her first real fight apart from being attacked in the showers but that wasn't a proper fight. But considering the others have had real 1 on 1 fights, this was beas first proper fight and challenge and she did the best because she was also alot smarter, thoes magazines and the blood clotting pills saved her life, and as jacs once said it takes the smart women to run the prison not the strong one. And I think that's why jacs had that conversation with bea because she saw something in her, that's why she saw bea as a threat because she probably knew bea had potential to get to this stage, she probably had Debbie killed to break bea but it made her stronger in the end. I just wish that they kept bea in the show for longer, atleast until the end of season 6/7 so she had a good run. I always wondered how things would change if bea came back(I know it was never possible) like would she ever take top dog back if she had to, if she had to do it to protect allie, and would she be alot stronger? I love bea and I can see why allie was drawn towards her before getting to know bea, she's amazing!! Bea was also multitasking and planning more than one thing on time the day of her fight, because she had to plan taking the medication on time, get toni to deliver the gun in time, get jess to have sex with Mr fletcher so she could steal the swipe card and get the knife and tape for the magazines, have the fight with franky, slash her wrists so she wouldn't be handcuffed, steal another patients clothes in the hospital, escape into the outside world, she got the gun and went straight to brayden to get revenge for the death of her daughter. I think bea earned the top dog position more than any other prisoner has!! I mean she proved to the women she had the strength and smarts to make the tough decisions, to not run away from the screws and ferguson, and to use force on the prisoners out of line. I lived bea in season 3 and parts of season 4 she ran the prison with an iron fist the women did everything she asked them to do and it wasn't down to fear it was because they liked bea, she had the whole prison onside, she had the power to cause a riot in season 3 when she was in the slot. I loved everything she did, she really cared for the women!!
noticed around 0:09 ,that marie, or rather the actor who plays marie, susie porter, walks completely differently, was she in an accident or something like that? hope not but asking because she walks very differently now - s8/9 - than she did in s6/7 - and i know allie shot her in the leg but this is upper body like an overall stiffness.
