Stacey Slater isn’t just a character. She feels like someone who very much exists in real time. That’s how convincing and natural Lacey Turner is as an actress (ditto for Gillian Wright as far as Jean’s earliest appearances on the show go). More grease to her elbows.

This should've been Ruby, Stacey, Janine and Whitney's moment for a big fight but the writers seriously let this down by writing Ruby out and turning Janine soft.
I like the new Janine/Whitney scenes. It’s nice to see the writers haven’t forgotten their history either, and it was dark. Ruby leaving was a blessing because the actress was unconvincing anyway. I hope she does herself a favour and stays where she is.
