Love the name you gave the jam,how old was the tree you used the ladders with Lee?just wondering 'cuz I got a couple of small ones last year, they are great looking trees.
I love medlars. Once bletted, I usually just eat them as is. Taste like baked apples/quinces and dates. Just squeeze the sweet goo into my mouth and spit out the seeds!
I have never heard of these! Thank you for sharing! Hello from Ohio 🤗

The little one was planted last year. So probably a 2-3 year old graft. Super quick to fruit. Think yours should fruit maybe next year? 🥷🌿👌
Well l'm intrigued. Looks like a tree full of rose hips, never eaten one but will have to keep an eye out for the fruit or a small tree for sale.
They’re bizarre and delicious. Well worth a try if you get the chance! 🥷🌿🤘
