Basically, he liked Sanemi first and then found out he liked Kanae so forced himself to stop liking him and convinced himself he liked shinobu when he really didn’t. Then when he met Obanai the first thing he noticed was his eyes and was disappointed when Obanai said mean things to him and when he found out he liked misturi. This made Giyuu feel like something inside him was broken and Rengoku noticed he was more reserved than usual so he went to check up on him, after a while he finally opened up about his experiences(including the crush he had on Sabito) and how he didn’t like that he liked boys because he wasn’t supposed to. Rengoku reassured him and they started hanging out and sleeping at each other’s houses and eventually started dating. Then Rengoku went on that mission for Mugen train and it kinda…ended. Then Sanemi and Giyuu started sleeping together with high, unresolved feelings and it didn’t help that they both had internalized homophobia. After the final battle, Tengen gave them a little push and set them up on a date (blind date) and sanemi said it wasn’t that bad so they hung out at one of their places afterward and soon started dating before they both passed Thank you for reading my AU ramble😅
