Corazons death was the hardest on me because when he died his devil fruit stopped working. Which made it hit way harder on law since hearing himself cry was the first sign
When mocha ate the "candy" to save her friends and almost dies. Pedro saying adios before he dies. Kinemon eating in front of Momonoske showing him to trust the food isn't poison. Jimbe giving blood to luffy to save his life again! There's so many other examples but even the little things make this show just so awesome. It makes you laugh, cry, yell lol.
*Spoiler for Anime Only folks*, I have never cried more at anything in my life than when Kuma told Dr. Vegapunk to wish Bonney a happy birthday with his last words, that broke me and I had to step back for close to half an hour.
Luffy's Reunion with Sabo personally broke me because he was left in the belief that he was the only brother left. When he realized that it was Sabo who stood before him, Luffy wasn't the only one to cry like a baby T_T
Robin's past and Ace's death literally broke me. Robin was just an innocent child that had everything taken from her and Ace sacrificed himself to protect his younger brother but this traumatized Luffy. Dammit tis serious makes me cry too damn much!
I knew I was going to regret watching this. I'm gonna go sob inconsolably in the corner now. I watch reactors so I have rewatched all of these multiple times. These consistently get to me. #1 Merry's Funeral. Always first. Always. For a solid week the first time. #2 Backstory that hasn't been animated yet. Destroyed me. I can't put an order to the rest, but my top 5 would include: Usopp v. Luffy Law's backstory - 2nd saddest backstory (2nd to the one not yet animated). Whitebeard and Ace - these go together for me. I have younger siblings, I understand Ace's motivation. I don't think I could pick only five more to round it out to 10. Sabaody - broken Luffy Brook - "Now we're a quartet…a trio…a duet…a solo” Bon-chan! o7 Yasouie - damn that hurt! Sanji - WCI up to and including when he finally met back up with Luffy. Robin - backstory & "I want to live!" Nami - backstory and "help me." Vivi - ❌ Sanji - Baratie goodbye Usopp - "The Usopp pirates are disbanded" Usopp - "I'M SORRY!" Senior Pink - Did not expect that one to make me cry.
This probably isn’t enough for even an honorable mention, but When Bellemere first found Nami & Nojiko as babies on that battlefield, & Bellemere uttered, “how did you survive?” I was a hysterical ugly crying mess. It was the first OP scene to ever make me cry & still to this day the hardest.
Nani asking Luffy for help always gets me. It's when I knew id follow their story till the end. Just didn't know the end was going to take 30 years lol
I think the series will reach 40 years before the adventure comes to an end and Oda can sit back play Blink sake and laugh like a Maniac as he created something that surpassed anyone belief and the series can take its rightful place with the other titans of great fantasy such as Tolkien and it can be deemed the most successful of the big 3 as Bleach and Naruto have ended while One piece kept sailing along nicely!!
@@johnsaibot2359I’m pretty sure it was because he witnessed horrors so great and people so horrible that he couldn’t stand to see anymore, the world was just too evil
I still remember seeing Ace take the blow for Luffy for the first time. I was in shock for a minute before screaming out "ACE!" so loudly, it made my throat tear. When he died, Luffy wasn't the only one crying... 😭😭
The one moment that made me cry was when Jinbe told Luffy “that even though ace maybe gone was else do you have left in this world”. and Luffy picked up his hands and starts counted the number of his his friends. they’re more than just his crew, They’re his family🥹
So many people hear about crying for a ship, they may even think they are doing well during the send off, and then, she says "I'm sorry." then people begin to break down.
What personally cracks me up is the moment when Sengoku announces the end of the war. The iconic music, the lifeless bodies and the cruelty of war combined make for a very sad scene
Just when I thought I was all out of tears to shed watching one piece, the wano arc and the truth behind the smile fruit and yasuie’s death, it has me balling my eyes out hard. The lengths that the shogun went to make the poor people suffer, intentionally making them starve and serving them toxic fruit removing their ability to do anything but smile, executing yasuie the way he did, and not even mentioning his part in Oden’s murder, it really makes your blood boil.

When ace died, I was honestly shocked, but let's say that it was something that I saw coming, you can't go into war without any casualties. The going Merry however, goddamn, that make my grown 30 year old ass cry like I was 5 year old....
There's soooooo many moments throughout this show that truly stuck with you. However, the one that still sticks with me probably the most is I want to live with Robin. To literally give someone a second chance a living.... When I first saw it in the anime it just left such an impact and shook me to my core.

I'm actually surprised you didn't include stuff like, Baby 5 and the slave girl who was saved by Fisher Tiger because those moments too are nothing to sneeze at.
I'm still grateful for the fact that *SPOILER* Robin's mother's death wasn't in vain. They died protecting all the knowledge in the books from fire. And the books survived.
how i don't want to get blacklash from this but HOW many times will they show us Ace's death? I get that losing his brother and going on an emotional rollercoaster it sad but there are MORE moments that also make you cry like.... 1. The death of Oden 2. Robin learn that Saul is alive 3. Luffy learn that Sabo is alive. 4. Bonney reunited with her father Kuma.
The English dub made it 10x emotional. While the Japanese original version was emotional enough, but it was themed to be having clues. While the English version was all the emotions.
Merry's deus ex machina save got to me more than the funeral. Luffy is down, everyone else is holding on as best they can, and the buster call is ticking down... "TO THE SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAA" 😭😭😭😭
Let's be sincere. This anime puts most tearjerking anime to shame. Heck, it could also make "Grave of the Fireflies" look almost like a picnic by comparison.
Izo’s death not being on this list is a crime. I know it’s not as sad as the Going Merry or Law’s backstory, but Izo was one of the most respectable members of Oden’s samurai and of Whitebeard’s commanders. I actually cried when I saw him die because he died trying to protect the Straw Hats from Cipher Poll. RIP Izo. He was a real one.
When Sanji's heart got broken because of pudding was the saddest for me. he was ready to give up his biggest dream (all blue) so his friends can sail away in peace.
Kaku's regret always hit hard as he's shown wishing he wasn't an assassin and could remain in Water 7 but had no regrets in givingZoro Robin's Sea Prism Stone Handcuff key ... even Zoro felt regret cutting down Kaku and even apologized as under different circumstances they could have been friends. 🦒🏴☠️
Nami stabbing her tattoo put me in tears 😭💔 Luffy has the biggest heart in all of anime EVER! Nobody can match his loyalty and the love that hes got for his Nakama. Saying theyre all one big family is an understatement. Hed give his life for any of them at the drop of a hat. Odas writing over the years has made each and every Straw Hat Pirate feel like a real life friend and family member. They are a part of my life as much as my own siblings and parents. If he ever kills one of them off i could seriously see alot of people going into a depressed state. Itd be like losing a best friend. Can you say this about any other piece of entertainment?
The entire second half the Alabasta arc… Vivi crying out for the fighting to stop helplessly… Especially the Straw hats not being able to say goodbye to a friend properly, only with their backs turned and raising fists…

Rest in peace Ace. 😭
Can you do "Top 10 Yu-Gi-Oh! Moments That Will Make You Cry"?
Nami: "Help me, Luffy..."
Luffy: "OF COURSE I WILL!!!!"
Ace’s death. I will never stop crying over it. 😭😭😭
Just the part where Nami’s real mom was killed.
We need to come back to this once Kuma's backstory gets animated because let me tell you, his backstory is HEARTBREAKING
I had to step away from everything for a few hours after reading that one
Not really or is that my emotional had be squeezed dry over the years of watching the
series
It’s easily top 3 material
Kumas backstory just broke me. I‘m super excited for the animation.
Facts
Man that Robin “I want to live” gets me every time
Every singel time
Facts 😭
Idk not sad at all
Nami: "Help me, Luffy..."
Luffy: "OF COURSE I WILL!!!!"
Corazons death was the hardest on me because when he died his devil fruit stopped working. Which made it hit way harder on law since hearing himself cry was the first sign
Yet.... Corazon was dying from multiple bullet wounds and somehow held on long enough for Law to get out of Doflamingo's hearing range before dying.😢
Ace's death, Merry's funeral, Nami asking luffy For help, the backstories... This anime sure knows how to Pump the waterworks 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Ace’s death wasn’t sad to me, he asked for it by not fleeing and being too prideful.
What about koala's past and otama backstory also otoko
Robin: I want to live! Take me to sea with you!

At #20:
"Like I give two shits what that loser thinks!!" That's what was said by Pudding about Sanji in the dub. And that definitely cut deep there.
Sanji acknowledging Zeff as his father instead of Judge gets me every time , even though it wasn't played as a sad scene

Oda-San is a super genius!!!
Let’s leave it at that.
The moment were Nami begged Luffy to help her escape Arlong and Ace's death are two moments that I find sad
Pudding kissing Sanji was way more impactful than her betraying him.
@@MrNeCr01 that one made me tear up. Such a sweet moment and Sanji will never know.
#1: Ace taking a fatal blow for Luffy. Close second, Usopp dueling Luffy for the Merry. 🎉
This video made me cry
The Nami asking for help gets me every time. There are others as well, but none greater than that one. Robin wanting to live is a close second.
