Hi guys! Taken a minute (or three) to pen a comment on this song, because honestly I couldn’t really think of the words to write. Of all your music, this song is the MOST cinematic (it feels and sounds epic, especially with the strings woven in and out). This song is whimsical and comforting. I always find songs like these to be the most fascinating as they look inwards to what we think, feel, know and don’t know, rather than commenting on what is happening all around us all the time ❤🎵 For me I’m a bit stuck with my own creativity at the moment, so I find so many lyrics from ‘Loveland’ connect to where I’m at: • “Lost my train of thought again, And wrote a bridge to 3 am” (love this idea of it being hard to find your thoughts but you keep writing anyway in the hope they’ll come back and mean something) 📝✨ • “I’ll drive the coast down to Loveland (and I), I’ll take a dip in the sky” (this makes me think of where the ocean and the sky meet every night and every morning, somewhere in that horizon line, there is magic) 🌅 • “After all, who am I to say? There’s gotta be a tunnel light” (remaining hopeful and searching for hope in things, experience and people, even when everything feels the opposite) 🌈 • “Calmly, The rain is falling down, And it finds me, I feel it now I feel the clouds” (the imagery of these lines make me think of how when you are writing or being creative you have to try not to rush things, you have to wait, you have to be still and let the rain fall down.
