Just a heads up to any beginner players wanting to attempt this, in about 3 months of grinding i'v accumulated about 70 of those patterns on the side. Unless you specifically want this outfit, you're better off buying one from the market place.

Honestly thats awesome that you can craft an outfit that is sold on the pearl shop. Even wow makes custom shop outfits restricted to only the shop and do not make them accessible in game via grinding.

If you're looking for a costume or anything from the pearl shop really, keep an eye on the bundles and sales they run. Like right now they have a sale for 3 premium costumes for 6k pearls, some people won't need all 3 so they'll sell the extra on the marketplace. Same goes for pets.

Thank you so much for this! I've taken on the insane task of crafting a Karlstein outfit (EVERYTHING) for each of my characters. I wanted to know where to grind for the shards because I just finished getting everything else besides the daily designs that I'm going to need. Off to grinding!
That's some dedication
I always loved the upper part of that outfit but hated the bottom part of it for the female version. I do like seeing legs like everyone else but it feels like something is missing due to the lack of details compared to the upper part. Like she forgot to put something on. I just realized my DK's free basic outfits come with extra long boots though, so I should get something nice by mixing them in. Quite fitting that you also used a DK for the video.
im regretting throwing away those patterns because i didn't know/care about them before
There are multiple old moon mills in Calpheon, you can sort them from top.
After ton of grinding, only got 2. RIP.

I don´t know why but I don´t have the quest Back to Calpeon. Yes I looked under suggested and the others. NVM I could start it from the Karlstein quest.
didnt work for me on the starting at romary, but going to rubin with some patterned mystical shards in inventory opened up the quest (you gotta have some in inventory)
To begin with i dont have the back to calpheon quest in my blacks spirit.Ive completed kamasylvia quests and all the past,ive tried to speak to some of the npc you spoke noone offers me a quest.Dunno maybe its the season char?

Hi dude i wanna ask you about gathering. My situation is that i have Artisan 10 and one hedhedog tier 3 and i am back in BDO after 7month. Now how understand energy get nerf and if i am make gathering plus butchering take meat and make cooking imperial it's be profitibale if i buy everytime energy potion? Or better take bartering?

To really start the quest you need the intricate Patterned Mystical Shard in your inventory (at least 1) to really start the quest and it starts with Rubin

@@paquamilos533 you need to have 1 pattern in inventory then talk to Rubin in calpheon I think the quest name is some about a hero
great video! is this quest only for the karlstein outfit or its for every class?
its for every class if im not mistaken. At least all female characters i have has this outfit aviable in Pearl shop. And if i recall correctly it can't be put in Marketplace.(only restriction it has as far as i remember)
@@velosong3396 so - shai is not a female character in your textbook? Or, in other words - shai can't buy Karlstein, so my guess is, that she (or it) cannot wear it as well.

I think this is a good way if you have the ingredients firts, just make it like a bonus or something

You have to put the item u need to craft karlstein in ur inventory and then he will have the quest available

its not there on my Black Spirit
you can find this in the area where the manshas are !!!! " the mystical shard" if you are lucky !!

@@shisaiken no worries i should've been more specific. At 3:30 those intricately patterned mystical shards. If you go to the karlstein missions and just put your mouse click over it, it tells you the requirements. It says you have to have one first

I have question for anyone that could help.
I just started playing BDO maybe 2 weeks ago and I just finished the Mediah storyline. I noticed my character's costume changed. Did I unknowingly equip this costume or is it automatically changed during this portion of the game?
Follow up question: I intend on buying a costume from the Pearl shop. Is it in danger of being automatically changed into something else automatically during some other portion of the game?

I see no one has answered your question and if you still play the game, have probably figured this out already.
You must have inadvertently changed your outfit as they give away several outfits through the main story line.
If you do buy an outfit from the pearl shop, you can take it off and put it on at anytime. It will not automatically change to something else.

I have skilled 1 in processing - and I try to make the supreme feather shaking 5 glazes and a fine feather and I get "Not working at all" and it doesn't process? Any ideas why?

go to recurring quest, look for "kamaslyvia contribution". that contains all the quest for peridot leaf that can be exchanged for horse mats xD

Don't bother with awakening weapon. Just focus on getting your accessories AP up first.

I like to know how to get to level 61 on the season server. I am at level 57 and ... it already takes FOREVER!
530% scrolls and poly
Follow his guides for levelling. They work.
It's quite easy actually. From level 57-59 just grind fogans. Pop in some 530 scrolls and mercenary buffs, you'll be 59 in no time. Then 59-60 and 60-61, just do pure questing. You must have the chenga tome first though so before doing that make sure you'll finish the chenga tome quest since it increases your combat xp rewards on quest. Got mine 60-61 in just 1-2 hrs just doing sidequests on Kamasylvia and Dreighan
Leveling from 56-61 can be done in a few hours, with 0 grinding, by following the leveling guides on this very channel. The only downside is you won’t have a lot of skill points when you’re done.
ez,grind for tuvala ore,side reward you will reach lv 60 then do side quest from 60 to 61 only 2 hours

I saw this and knew there was a catch to the quest I made a joke saying I bet I have to collect like 50 of these and I was right lol it’s either u pay to win or no life grind on bdo not doing that so I’ll just buy karlstein outfit
WHAT IF i dont have this quest? this is a EDIT: SELECT the crafting with karlsteiin and just complete all the way through until reach where EvilDoUsHarm is at. hope this helps guys. and thanks for the video help EvilDoUsHarm :)

@@Chris3s He is explaining that EvilDoUsHarm forgot to go over the beginning part of the questline. The "Back To Calpheon" quest he starts from is near the end of the questline of "A Hero in Karlstein I" and you must go through the questline to even arrive at this point.
