Feels weird adding new currency to old heroics combined with existing 346 gear while the troll 5 mans have 353 and no new currency. I didn't check on the ptr but the troll 5 mans are still the best valor farm but you have to choose the others if you want the new currency?
As much as im sure they will NEVER BUFF PROT WARRIOR im a GM/Raid Lead for a 10m guild and I am our MT as a Prot Warrior with a Prot Pally OT (although depending on fight I do OT because some fights im just that much better like nef adds/maloriak adds) and not only have I been playing MT as Prot Warrior since the start of WOTLK I did heroic LK and we went 13/13H this phase I get DK is OP and broken but every tank is super Viable I just hate the amount LESS OF DMG Warrior does Vs all other tanks I was maining DK tank at the start we got 9/13h and I had to leave my 25m guild my warrior was in and brought it to the 10m and we went 13/13h So idk I just really hate the Blood DK playstyle I know alot of people do love it im just more of a sheild tank guy! However I do play a Prot Paladin and ive been holding Rank 1 on my server for 10m on logs so ive had a TON OF FUN(also when you said on Baleroc if your like us your using normally 70% mastery you mean increased amount healing absorb by 70% right?
Going to watch this all but a general question about gearing I had: If we break DPS 4set, would it be a DPS gain with Tank 2 set for the 2 set bonus while we wait for 2+2 in firelands?
Could you explain the Shannox ledge strat a bit more indepth? You mentioned a specific spot where you as a main tank have to be and cannot cross, but what about the ot? Where he should be? Does he have to move with the dog when the dog is fetching the spear or can he just be at the ledge at all times? Is there a line of sight requirement for certain event for not to be teleported?
The OT is up top kiting around the dog. They can stay up top while the dog fetches the spear, and they don't need to be in LOS but they also can't be very far away (both for the teleport and the distance based enrage mechanic)
@@Hawk1987Hawk I'd go for the tank gloves and shoulders just because they'll be useful for baleroc early. But you can also wait and see what drops and just grab ilvl in slots you don't get
I would love them adding a scaling buff like ICC for FL and DS. That way it can be shorter and we can still ensure that players getting to raid heroic for the first time can eventually feel that accomplishment (and 25m’s can have better chances vs just “easier 10m”), while those here for the challenge can clear early or turn it off.
prot war is viable for 25man hc not so much 10man hc. atleast for OT. ( another league but top guilds in cata had all pwar tanks as main tanks , Sco, Grafarion etc ) :D

@@jamie5mauser dps helm and legs for sure. Can add tank gloves and shoulders or chest for 2 piece for a decent defensive gain and small dps loss. Tank shoulder+glove is more mast and dps than chest+glove at the cost of a few % avoidance. 2 pc dps+2 pc tank (glove+shoulder) is what I'm going for
@@SubtleFW thanks! The set bonuses seem strange to me. I don’t get the burning blood effect for melee attacks. It causes our abilities to behave as if we have 2 diseases on the target. But shouldn’t there already be two diseases on the target? So it makes abilities act as though there are four diseases? Thanks!
did our first Firelands raid tonight, got 4/7 25-normal down, almost 5. With Christmas and new years being on our raid days, i'm pretty sure my guild won't clear heroic before Dragonsoul comes out :/ It's getting really hard to find players. We did really well in Ulduar but LK25 made so many players quit because we couldn't kill it... We're getting actual new players into the guild but trying to teach someone how to play WoW is really tough...
Yah just kinda at that point in content where not everyone is going to be able to down every boss. I originally hated the ICC progressive buff but I think mechanics like that are really important for keeping the overall playerbase engaged. I could definitely see them nerfing firelands sometime before dragon soul. And then dragon soul has a progressive debuff on mobs similar to ICC
I cleared all t11 in the first 2-3 weeks in a gdkp. But i also lead a 10man guild and we are still progging t11 (nef). I dont really enjoy yhe wall that is "harder" content and woukd rathetsmash content at a faster pace than have hard content and farm it for 5 months honestly
I do enjoy the harder content but your sentiment is definitely shared by the majority of the playerbase. I think that's why MoP will likely be the last classic xpac they do

Would have to sim it but most likely if you're replacing it with 391 pieces

on bethilac - you can also skip from the right side, from near the portal to quest boss i believe, but it involves some wall jumping

Haven't actually done it on 10 myself but it looks like it's easy to solo tank

Mop didn’t have mythic and hopefully classic mop won’t as well.
I'm currently playing cata. I hated mop. I won't be continuing.
