Leonard Ravenhill was a powerhouse minister he had a love for God and people . He has helped me many times such wisdom anointing this man had .

What a wonderful man of God! I keep listening to him and brother David Wilkerson to keep reminding myself what true preaching should be like in the midst of the corrupt modern churchianity. Lord give us more like him! 🙏

Again I praise God that He has allowed the teachings of brother Ravenhill to be recorded so those who are hungry can be fed. It amazes me always how brother Ravenhill literally makes the people told about in the WORD so real.I truly believe that brother Ravenhill’s teaching are for the final days because the return of Christ is extremely drawing closer and the devil knows and he is trying to wear out God’s saints. Be strong in the LORD and the power of His might!!

Jesus came so we may have a reconciled relationship with God, for without that, we could not be gifted salvation.
I walked up to Lennard Ravenhill's house in 1992, my knees knocking as I knocked on the door and for a brief moment I thought, now is the time to run away. Forty minutes earlier I was telling Daniel Baker that Leonard Ravenhill couldn't possibly still be alive.
This has blessed me thank you. I have spent two years on my own since the Lord delivered me miraculous from a false NAR gospel . I have only had the Bible and being lead to great teaching like David Wilkerson Carter Conlon Jimmy Swaggert and this gentleman. I really am starting to see the real gospel.
Bless you and keep you in his loving protection. So easy to be brainwashed and fall for false gospel.

HmHm. You never find union between the lost and the saved in the Bible. It actually says Christ came to divide. Sheep from the goats, wheat from the tares, clean from the unclean. And I'm so thankful God showed me this while I'm young.

As you implement the things Leonard is calling out by the power of the Holy Spirit, the more "professing believers" will despise you, will refer to you as an over-reacting fanatical zealot. For you will be a reminder of how far they are from God. Bank on it.

6:20 "While you're listening to God they're listening to all the popular preachers of the day.."; consider that-that no one in this yt age of listening to messages has made the significant impact of those like dl moody bc moody had to listen to His voice while we can have the "luxury" of being distracted by a preachers voice and simultaneously be deceived that what we're listening to is causing us to grow in Christ. You can't pretend to know someone that you don't spent extended time with in their presence.

And in 2024 - The most blasphemous hours of the week are Sunday morning church in America and the most dangerous place in America is in the womb.
So what do I do with my family? If they depend on me, how do I give them what they need but go to follow Christ and Bare my cross? I truly want to know.

It is possible that your cross is providing for your family. He is a very practical God. Oftentimes it is the very place we are, not leaving or forsaking our current situation or circumstance, where He requires us to deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Him. It is in our current situation and circumstance where the Holy Spirit, when we are yielding to Him, conforms us to the image of Christ; in the practical, daily, mundane. And IN that, BY that, THROUGH that day-to-dayness, we are learning to deny ourselves, to take up our cross, to follow Him.
Matthew 12:45
Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
2 Peter Chapter 2
1But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
3And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
For salvation, we just need to follow the way they did it in Acts? They were baptized in water for the removal of sins and filled with the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38!
Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled and rising again from the dead and walking in the newness of life. That's what Acts 2:38 is.
We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ...
Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven. St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT a man, be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter into the kingdom of GOD.
We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed.
One way for all people. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritans. Our salvation has to match up with the scriptures and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away.
Eternity is TOOO long to be WRONG! st, John 5:39, Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church.
It's better to walk alone than to walk with a crowd going in the wrong direction.
Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, And they continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone.
Don't get Titus 3:5 mixed up with James 2:14-26, about WORKS. One is a WORK of your OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS OR GOOD DEEDS and the other is a WORK OF FAITH. Titus 1:16, They profess that they know God; but in WORKS they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. God bless you!

If you have to "abandon all distraction" to follow Christ wouldnt that mean you cant watch or own any tv? Or even play something innocent like a game of checkers as that is time spent doing something you want to do and not denying yourself in that moment?? I dont wanna be legalistic, but im interpreting "no distractions" as to mean any time of activity youre not spending with God is sinful, and that you can never even have or develop any hobbies like learning an instrument. I dont wanna be legalistic but i dont wanna be liberal either. If you truly must surrender all and all your time, who can do that? I cant just wake up, pray, read bible, witness all day and go back to sleep and that be my only cycle day in and day out. That would burn anybody out.
I think he was trying to say. Don’t have something consuming your time. To the point Jesus has become secondary. Keeping that fire hot for him. Desiring God always.

Whatever you do, do all for God. Love God, love people. That's it. But you need to look after yourself reasonably well. Robert Murray Mccheyne burned out and died at 29 and said he'd flogged the horse to death and regretted that.
Amen anything that is not of God is a distraction. We must Die daily live more for His Glory
