I usually buy the shine formula but the matte does not look like the typical matte on your lips. Love seeing the video of Sadie she’s adorable!! 😊🌺

I was JUST pouring over pictures trying to figure out if I wanted to order any of these yesterday! This video is so well timed for me!! These are SO much warmer than I thought! Everything turns warm on me anyway, so I think I’ll be passing for right now. Maybe they’ll release cooler shades in the future. BUT… then I saw 207 on you and WOW! Man it’s stunning. I am fair complected, and I love a bold contrast of lip like that! I feel like pair that lip with a ND Retro palette look and you are set! I’m going to see if I have anything in my collection that is close to 207 (maybe Pat McGrath Flesh 3? I just put it on my lips but I think it has less purple and more red. Do you have Flesh 3 by chance to compare?) I feel 207 calling my name!! Edited to add: SADIE AND THE BLUEBERRY! 😍 She is such a cutie!!!
Sadie is soooooo cute. She looks really unique for a Shiba. What a special puppy. Something about her reminds me of the baby Direwolves from Game of Thrones because she looks like a mythical dog from a storybook.
@@LexiJong that's so nice you got a sweet dog in such a unique coat color. I know that the Direwolves were probably Husky puppies when they showed them as puppies in GOT and definitely not Shibas. But your Sadie has a magical look that made me think of those characters. One of my favorite things about the Shiba head is the way the point of their ears at the top is has a rounded shape.
So I went with 116, 117, and 207. I’m traveling so I don’t have my Valentino’s or any of my other lipsticks to compare them too, but I will enjoy them!!!

Hi Lexi! I like all of them except 114 (too light and makes you look a bit pale) and 207 (too dark -too harsh for a light skin tone). :) Thank for your hard work!🤗 P.S. What brush (Sonia G) do you recommend for loose powder? I know how much you love brushes and have a lot of experience using them so I trust in your expertise for a honest opinion. Just bought the sky eye set and waiting for them this Friday. 😊 Your puppy is so cute! 😍

Hello Lexi, how do these compare to their older matte formulation, the one in the shorter sizes with the magnetic cap? I had the the shade 102 of the old matte formulation, it was too light for me though so I didn’t reach for it that much. I got the new new nudes from Valentino after watching your video on them, I’m loving them! Thanks for this video!

Yes i really love these mattes! Definitely more like the cle de peau mattes in the sense that they don’t look truly matte.

They are not transfer proof but they are pretty transfer resistant so they stay put well.
