If a farmer with livestock says that they haven’t lost a boot or two they’re lying. I grew up near dairy farm which I worked on for a couple years after turning fourteen - now a over the road truck driver down in the USA and enjoy watching your videos because it reminds me of the good old days
When I was a little kid (under 5 y/o), I got stuck in some muddy poopy mess at my Grandma's farm. I stepped out of my boots and got stuck with my feet. My dad had to come rescue me and my boots. When we got our own dairy farm a few years later, I remember chasing cows in warmer weather in bare feet because boots just got stuck in the muck!
Your Mom laughing made me laugh harder! I've had that happen to me when I worked on a horse farm and it rained for a week. Love how the cows were running around and playing

Poo on the boot.. Thats standard on the farm aye.. We had a very small farm growing up & I remember my dad had a 9N ford with a loader.. He decided to scoop out our barn after a particularly long cold winter & down the the hill I waited with the spreader.. Bucket high in the air , he comes down the hill & hits his brakes... The bucket slambed to the ground at the same time the ass end goes up in the air... It launched my dad off the tracker a solid 10 feet thru the air.. He landed & rolled under the manure spreader... I was probably 14 at the time , & jumped of the tracker thinking he was hurt... Wasnt hurt but he was furious .. I looked & he had no boots on... My dad wore ankle high work boots & rarely tied the laces.. The boot were still on his 9N ford . It launched him right out of em... I laughed till my ribs ached.. He only said, "if you tell anyone about this Im kickin yer ass"... I told everyone... Lol. True story.

I love to see that you do this....clean up the corrals. I was watching another cow farm channel for a bit. They were meat steers.....and their corrals were absolutely filthy...up to the steer's bellies in winter and no bed pack that I could see. They also showed just as little care for their animals when moving them around.....and a little crude with the joking around stuff.....so needless to say, I don't watch that channel anymore. I'm pretty sure that particular farm was the exception and not the rule and that most of you animal farmers are very on top of animal care and comfort for the sake of your business if nothing else. Thanks for sharing your farm with us !
Well Miss good animal welfare is part of their philosophy , as some of those animals will be part of their future dairy herd and those that are steers will be sold for meat, the less health problems they have the less they have to spend on veterinary bills
