It's a double edge sword. There are some people who only watch the clips picking the clips they actually want to watch and those who watch the full podcast. If they didn't upload the clips it would lead to fewer views but possibly more subscribers, and vice versa. I personally am not subscribed but fully watch all the podcasts but I think it's best to upload the clips as those get a pretty good amount of views from people who don't want to click on an hour-plus long podcast so is worth it.
Look you 2 know 10x more about TH-cam than me but the first words of the podcast being to subscribe pains me. Any new viewer who isn’t subscribed needs a reason to do so more then just ‘we’re trying to hit a million’ people are selfish so therefore have to have enjoyed a few minutes before they’ll subscribe.
