- What a day new personal best for speed at 337.92. We went all the way to the final, where we lost that only .016. It was a good weekend. Almost a great weekend.

Jones was a Top Gas driver in SoCal in the late 60's. He was a regular at Top Gas shows at the Pond, Irwindale, Lions, Fontana and OCIR.

She told all her friends you gave her a gas light, lol it was issy who gave her a exhaust valve, she didn't care, it was off clays car. You are a true hero to so many little kids coming up and as well as me fully grown adult lol.

Most people don't understand the nitro cars are treading on the edge of disaster at all times. If they blow up, it's because you either ran little bit of a hot tune or something broke shit happens. It's racing. Keep doing a great job Clay and Parts Plus Team

I got to my regiment Jan 7 1966. For the next three years until we got Chieftains, I was a gunner in my much beloved Centurion Tank. My troop Sgt was from the trainning base and he put me straight into the 2IC's gunner seat of the squadron. Sgt Stawicsky was much loved by all. When he was inpressed his favourite expression was "Shine like a dog's bollock !". Well Parts4Plus have been shining alright. THANKYOU so much for the thrills, and spills. The last few months have ben arduous to say the least. Clay deserves all the good luck gets and by a gnat's knacker he didn't quite make it. So what ? The whole experience was really something. The new cam is really cool and actually puts you in the driver's seat, who doesn't want to drive a top fuel car ? Not many I bet. Thankyou Clay and the team. All the best for the next one. hoping for continued reliability.
I totally understand the reason for the redacto box. Both versions were cool and I thought that the three monkey version was quite ingenious! And the stomp on the loud pedal was to be expected.

Hey Clay, Great finish! I have a question for you. On the fuel tanks, they used to have a little breather so the air would help push the fuel to the engine, what happened to those? They would put a little hood on them during the burn out to keep from putting fuel all over the track, they had the backer remove it before the race..
