    They want someone who knows the politics of Scottish football and what its all about..Someone outside Scotland won't know how counter productive Scottish football is...Funny enough they are comparing footballers coming to the club from other Scottish clubs. Conner Barron knows the Scottish game hence why he hit the ground running!!

      Agreed .
      Rangers are in a state.
      Somebody should be touring the globe and asking for investors, too.
      Non Saudi ones or the like, that is.

    Fantastic show again. Good balance of the pros and cons of the potential appointment of CEO. That last point Stevie made hits home . The fans don’t trust the board! Too many badly handled issues that embarrass us all.

      Yeah I don't trust their judgement in appointments. Proven by how things jave went over the last decade. This board have a lot to do to achieve and get any trust back. I am open to it. This is there chance with me as a fan. If things don't progress and they don't fix our finances and be more responsible then they will get pelters and I believe they will be hounded out like Charles Green was.
      They have much to prove.

    Cheers Guys. We need a proven CEO with a proven track record IMO. Who knows, maybe Gillespie would do a good job.
    The 4 pillars are miles away. Maybe there's been a delivery problem in China.

    You go on about normalisation at Ibrox, Gillespie has worked and smoozed with other directors and others in different clubs. A lot of people have much admiration of him, aye admittedly it could come across as a EASY option, but he already has his finger on the pulse of Scottish Football so for me it's a no brainer

    No problem with James bisgrove….. he faced up, which is more than I can say for others. I had some seat problems and he never once ignored my issues….. always responded to me…. Fair play.

    We can all have our own opinion and speculation about Bisgrove.. I far as I am concerned he is a career man and did what was best for him..
    We should have brought Souness into the club in some capacity for his football accumen..

    Can anyone answer whether they want to appoint a CEO that shares a platform with John needham the St Mirren chairman that made historic sectarian tweets about Rangers and who made comments about the squinty bridge and rangers fans. I don’t!

    It goes without saying the job should be advertised. I genuinely don't know what we're trying to achieve the way we run things it's so substandard for a club our size.

    It’s all hypothetical. I’m sure Mr Gillespie is well aware of what awaits him which can only be to his advantage. Let’s see how he goes about it. Putting fans against him before he even starts is totally unnecessary. Negativity is never going to solve anything. 2/10 lads

      I am all for giving the guy a chance. However, we have had enough legal dramas and negativity in decisions created by this board. Why did they have to choose someone who had past legal drama? I hope it works out, but I am low on faith in this board. I am having a hard time believing they are capable of good judgement and appointments at all levels in the club.
      They have a lot to prove, as does Jim Gillespie. Let's see what he does.

    Who was the Beale fan boy,who sacked Gio,gave Beale a free hand to buy those players,at those prices,at those wages?
    We are still living with the consequences of those decisions.
    Stevie is not exactly an unbiased observer when it comes to Bisgrove and Beale.

    This is exhausting now. Everyone’s bored of it and had enough. As fans, we give you everything and you give us nothing.
    Make no mistake about it.. this is all self inflicted and could have been prevented. Our club is ran by buffoons. Celtic are going to win the league for the next 10 years.

  • @rangersnut
    @rangersnut 21 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    Can we stay away from Norwich city players please. They have a habit of not being good and not working out. Why do we keep dipping them for players? Is it an old pals act with someone on our board and someone at their club? We keep getting laden with dross from them. Russel Martin, Dowell, Cantwell, now linked with Abu Kamara. It's a bad omen taking another player from them.
    It strikes me as weird that we have Koppen and a new scouting team, yet we keep going back to the same failed places for players. Are we to believe Koppen has came in and with all his international knowledge and our new scout teams ability to identify players and they source exactly the same types form the same places as the last failed team of scouts that were fired? It feels off. If this is trully a new team and Koppen is the man to take us forward then lets see something new, in our transfer approach. We shouldn't be usong the old work form the old team either. It was a failure what they brought in mostly.
    I know we dont have cash for players until we sell but at least look further and in different places for talent on loan or as free agents even. I want to see us be shrewd. Also we need to be more careful and try to be making sure we get more robust guys who can hit the ground running.

    • @rangersnut
      @rangersnut 21 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Why would you want a CEO with no experience of running a club? I want a proper CEO with a background of running things and experience. They don't need to be Rangers men, to do a good job. Souness, Brown etc, all good Rangers men, but not cut out for CEO. It should be the guy with the best CV gets the job. Someone coming in with past legal drama, sounds like just what we need all the same. 🤦‍♂️
      I really hope Gillespie works out, but there always has to be something negative lurking amongst things with this board these days.

    The Dynamics of football has changed, Rangers dont need a CEO they need to go back to the Future and appoint a club secretary in the mold of Campbell Ogilvie and scrap all this youth set up and take on apprentices.
