@alialbaity458 kings in a strange spot because depending on who you ask he's top tier or mid af. Sorta depends if you're playing a good player or someone who refuses to duck lol
I feel like kings neutral pokes and buttons are way to strong. Because of the throws, people will naturally duck, so he doesnt need insane tools to beat someone by just abusing the threat of the throw. So why does he have the best counter hits among other things
King is stupidly linear tho... Like what TMM said DON'T DUCK just sidestep... Almost all of his offense loses to it... He has very few tracking moves and even fewer r reliable
Tell me if I'm wrong...im pretty new to this... But I guess he also has a amored jaguar step without heat and df 21 string also works without counterhit. The 1 only has to hit, or Im wrong and miss something?
Unless something has changed, no, he does not have an armored Jaguar Sprint (the step is the little spinning hop) without heat. And sure, if you don’t block the 1 on the df21 hit then it’ll lead to a string, but if it’s not on counter hit then the opponent can still duck or block the 1.
Mister masku, please, his armored JGR (f3+4) is option-selected by continuously pressing 1 jab, as it beats literally every option and King can't duck there Lows and grabs are good, but lose to JGR3/4 After uf3+4/heatsmash you gotta learn to react to RKO, and it's bullshit online, that's true
I strongly disagree about not stepping king's heat smash. Especially if we are talking about king of ranks red to blue, which is an average rank of people who needs this guide I guess. I would say Kings there are stupidly straight with their heat smashes and are easily sidewalked. A constant sidewalk when the king is in range with an active heat beats them like all the time for me. I clearly feel like this heatsmash has almost no tracking, which makes your statement pretty weird to me.
Thank you I rather have a guide dedicated to how to beat my main so people can stop over nerfing a character that they have lack of knowledge on lmao all people need to do is study the character but people are too lazy to get in the lab
Admittedly I do tend to try to throw people who use characters who don't rely on throws but resort to desperation throws. However I often plan ahead when I go for a throw against someone who's using desperation throws so if they do break it I know what I want to do next.
I just don’t play against him. He’s a game ruining character for me so I literally disconnect immediately if it’s a king. Easiest solution is to not deal with them in the first place.

@@PathIsntRealu can learn literally 0 throw breaks to play against king... Ur trying to fight his strength when all u have to do is be aware of his biggest weakness... Just sidestep... Ud be surprised how much ull enjoy the game if u put in a little work to learn the small things and let go of ur stubbornness
@levisamom5069 found the king main. who said i don’t enjoy the game itself? He’s a cheesy and cheap character and YOU know that. I have a blast playing tekken but King is almost unanimously considered to be annoying to deal with. If countering his weaknesses is so simple, then why does damn near everyone hate him? Oh right, bc he’s not fun to play against. I don’t have to play people or characters i don’t find fun, i paid for the game. You’re just assuming all these points like that i can’t learn the game bc you feel like you need to defend your cheap Main when no one attacked you for it.

@jessefoti9865 yeah kings like D tier (he's my main don't touch him)
@alialbaity458 kings in a strange spot because depending on who you ask he's top tier or mid af. Sorta depends if you're playing a good player or someone who refuses to duck lol
If they nerf him to be less of a noob stomper, they better buff him to be good against good ppl
Watching this as a King Second user. So i could counter MainMan audience
I was about to question, like "TMMs audience hates King?" But then I realized, TMMs audience hates any character that isn't a Mishima

@@chakrashadow3220hates any character that isnt mishima (jin not included ofc), brian, paul, or steve fix that for you
@dohnaseek Forgot about them, you right
Me, who mains Kazuya and has King as a secondary:
take this down right now I cant let people know
Why you telling all our King secrets
Do lily
id rather fight 100 kings before 1 yoshi/jin/alisa/ling
I'd add Feng and Hwo to that list too
no way guys, 100 kings better than 1 jin. also alisa, xiaoiu, jun i don't rematch)

I play king and everyone I play against break every single throw or its never my turn and I die
Keng 😮
remove chaingrab i guess
Wow 20 damage oki on getup kicks is so busted, while most of the cast can ch combo you for the same getup kicks. What a joke.
Is the damage values over the healthbar a mod or options only for practice mode? 🤔
The latter.
I hope all the king mains watch this so they can stop bitching about how “bad” their character is
No we wont, we arent 12 yo to believe tmm lol
And hopefully the king haters watch this so they can stop bitching about how "broken" the character is
Works both ways
What I've learnt watching this video.
1: just let king beat you so it's over quickly.
2: just plug on king everytime 🤣🤣
The biggesr character...kang
BAGOOSH
Tell me if I'm wrong...im pretty new to this... But I guess he also has a amored jaguar step without heat and df 21 string also works without counterhit. The 1 only has to hit, or Im wrong and miss something?
I already figured out that the step has another animation with a kick.
@@berry-o998if you’re talking about the Sole Crusher (uf 3+4) then yes, that is an armor move that turns into a jaguar sprint if it hits.
@@Red_Ghost85 ah I see. So you want the counter to be safe and ofc for the extra damage. Like you want it with Bryan's b21. got it. Thx
@Red_Ghost85 good to know about the sole crusher. I always use this option to do the jag step. Now I know it better. Thx
I saw a King player continuing to do that armoured run against my Viktor. Anyone going to tell him?
Mister masku, please, his armored JGR (f3+4) is option-selected by continuously pressing 1 jab, as it beats literally every option and King can't duck there
Lows and grabs are good, but lose to JGR3/4
After uf3+4/heatsmash you gotta learn to react to RKO, and it's bullshit online, that's true
King is probably the weakest to sidestep in t8
Just like kazuya...if you play 2d he is gonna stomp you
I strongly disagree about not stepping king's heat smash.
After you hit Blue Ranks, King drops off significantly. Good luck landing throws after that.
Thank you I rather have a guide dedicated to how to beat my main so people can stop over nerfing a character that they have lack of knowledge on lmao all people need to do is study the character but people are too lazy to get in the lab
New tech just dropped, Justframe Downplaying their main
@ Damn throw teched the rage bait better luck next time
Nerf King
Yeah no,King is overpowered at ALL levels of play
Fuck the lab, let’s play the damn thing
Admittedly I do tend to try to throw people who use characters who don't rely on throws but resort to desperation throws.
However I often plan ahead when I go for a throw against someone who's using desperation throws so if they do break it I know what I want to do next.
King is a very knowledge check character. Fortunataly i know a king main.
Obviously nerf devil jin with the stuff shown here.
I just don’t play against him. He’s a game ruining character for me so I literally disconnect immediately if it’s a king. Easiest solution is to not deal with them in the first place.
U would be surprised how easy of a gameplan it is to deal with king
@ oh I’m aware there’s ways but I don’t care. If you are that unenjoyable to fight to me and i have learn to tech like 10 different grab just to fight you, then I just won’t fight you. Everyone accept King, Eddy, and Hwoarang are fun to fight. I’ll skip eddy too bc you can’t even practice him but I keep trying (and failing) to fully get Hwoa’s stances.
@@PathIsntRealwell said.
@@PathIsntRealu can learn literally 0 throw breaks to play against king... Ur trying to fight his strength when all u have to do is be aware of his biggest weakness... Just sidestep... Throws don't track, his biggest moves don't track, super disadvantage too.... That's literally all u have to do
Also a tip to enjoy the game is to not be so ignorant... Like legit...
