  • Hi everyone and welcome to the channel
    This weeks spotlight on campgrounds is
    Roothog Reserve Campground
    Coordinates are
    33°5'33" S. 149°23'55" E.
    This is a nice campground only around 15ks from the town of Hill End so is an easy run back to explore the region. This one has ammenities and has nice views of the Macquarie river.
    If you're in the area come check it out.

    Now that’s a campsite Steve, I will be exploring that region soon on a little trip with my wife. Can’t wait! Just realised I have watched over 100 of your videos. Might of just qualified as a old hand lol. Really appreciate the time and effort yourself and Kaz put into these videos Steve and can honestly say I’ve enjoyed watching them all. Cheers 👍

    Yes it's a nice spot allright. Crossed that river in my Awd Hiace and had a look around. But we ended up camping at Bruinbun reserve a bit further down the track. A lot of nice camping areas on the Bridle Trail 🍻

    It's hard to believe in the stupidity and laziness of some modern day campers, take ya rubbish with you .we are constantly bagging up other people's rubbish to keep our river clean for campers.
