I just don't understand how so many anchors are lost out there. Are the majority of them cut lines from other boat props hitting them? None of them seem to be hung up on anything. CONGRATS!
there is alot of reasons for lost anchors..... we find that alot of them are simply not tied coreectly. alot of them are bungee ropes getting pulled out of the boaters hands. some people use non-locking snap carabiners that come unsnapped when they hit the water.... lots and lots of reasons..... really does suck to loose such an expensive anchor...... peace bro

Exactly my ignorant question. Is this the result of storms and hurricanes hitting a coastal area?

we find that alot of them are simply not tied coreectly. alot of them are bungee ropes getting pulled out of the boaters hands. some people use non-locking snap carabiners that come unsnapped when they hit the water....
